Historia
Against the atmospheric backdrop of the city of Venice, Brunetti finds himself fighting a lone battle to prove the innocence of a Romanian housekeeper accused of brutally murdering her miserly employer. Excellent source of ceremony ideas
Revisado: 04-07-23
This rich source of ceremony ideas is not a story, it is a resource book that I would need in hard copy to be able to refer to. The author often mentions the data at the end of the book. Since there is no PDF Included there is no way to access this information.

Historia
Karen Fine always knew that she wanted to be a vet and wasn't going to let anything stop her: not her allergy to cats, and not the fact that in the '80s veterinary medicine was still a mostly male profession. Inspired by her grandfather, a compassionate doctor who paid house calls to all his (human) patients, Dr. Fine persevered, and brought her Oupa's principles into her own practice, which emphasizes the need to understand her patients’ stories to provide the best possible care.

A Fine Reveal of the Veterinarian Profession
Revisado: 03-25-23
This excellent book encompasses Veterinary medical information as well as important mental health information with many links to sources for topics including acupuncture, herbal treatments, help with grief over loss of pets, and emotional support sources including MBSR(Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction). I especially appreciated that Dr. Karen Fine narrated the book herself and that she included a resource filled PDF.

Riveting Mystery
Revisado: 02-15-23
This is a well written page turner with many interesting characters. The setting in the UK adds to the charm as does the accent of the narrator. I look forward to reading or hearing more books by Joy Ellis.

Historia
There may be no tidy solutions or pithy answers to life’s big challenges, but Michelle Obama believes that we can all locate and lean on a set of tools to help us better navigate change and remain steady within flux. In The Light We Carry, she opens a frank and honest dialogue with listeners, considering the questions many of us wrestle with: How do we build enduring and honest relationships? How can we discover strength and community inside our differences? What tools do we use to address feelings of self-doubt or helplessness? What do we do when it all starts to feel like too much?

An enjoyable book full of wisdom
Revisado: 12-23-22
Hearing Michelle Obama read her own words made this excellent book even more enjoyable. Her parents wisdom in rearing Michelle and her brother is a model worth following. Her value of friends, family, curiosity in forming relationship, and of the necessity of doing the hard work to achieve goals are all illustrated by interesting examples. I couldn’t stop listening.
