Disliked how Amy acted. For me it didn't add to storyline. Was disappointed in reading this.

The thrilling surprises that were always ahead. No one saw the killing of Jordan coming and it really caught my breath. The parents were all good people and they were involved with the community. What they did for their children's sake was unbelievable!!

Child abuse

The way the story was told, it was hard to tell it was about child abuse at first. She was very clever in her way of telling a sad stiry. In the end it all worked out.

The love of a good family.
Revisado: 09-02-24
I loved how close they stayed though tumultuous times and horrendous pain. How Griffin always was a little in trouble alot of the time. How Nic loved his Lenny, but yet was drawn into affairs with men. Alex wanted so much to be a part ofeverything but couldn't bear with the pain all around him. But luckily and gratefully turned out better than okay with a family of his own. I didn't like, but already knew about, the strangulation, trial and finally death of Dominique. So cruel for such a young woman or any woman to go through. I loved the class and dignity that Lenny always showed in all phases of her life. A truely good mother with a listening ear. I have been a fan of Dominic Dunne writings for a long time. It was good to know of some background. And Griffin, you've done so well for yourself. Happy you're married and have Hannah. God bless all of you and your families. Loved the book and will continue to read all books Dunne.

Historia
Golden Globe-winning actor Michael C. Hall (Six Feet Under) performs Truman Capote's masterstroke about a young writer's charmed fascination with his unorthodox neighbor, the "American geisha" Holly Golightly. Holly - a World War II-era society girl in her late teens - survives via socialization, attending parties and restaurants with men from the wealthy upper class who also provide her with money and expensive gifts. Over the course of the novella, the seemingly shallow Holly slowly opens up to the curious protagonist.

The trauma that was in Edward and how he worked through it . ( with Shays help.)
Revisado: 07-23-24
The beautiful way that you told this story was a class act. I put it down twice, afraid
to delve into the all consuming pain that I figured was there. My husband, Edward, died and I haven't been able to move past it. It wasn't A plane crash, but death just the same. This book showed me how. I'm 77 now, but I have wasted 10 years of my life. A shameful truth that I am not proud of.
Loss is so forever and everyone claims it differently. I think I will now be able to see ahead and possibly be happy again. Ann, thank you for your beautiful writing and words of encouragement.
