Historia
Before Owen Michaels disappears, he smuggles a note to his beloved wife of one year: Protect her. Despite her confusion and fear, Hannah Hall knows exactly to whom the note refers—Owen’s sixteen-year-old daughter, Bailey. Bailey, who lost her mother tragically as a child. Bailey, who wants absolutely nothing to do with her new stepmother. As Hannah’s increasingly desperate calls to Owen go unanswered, as the FBI arrests Owen’s boss, as a US marshal and federal agents arrive at her Sausalito home unannounced, Hannah quickly realizes her husband isn’t who he said he was.

Historia
This outrageously entertaining and bawdy roman à clef from reality TV star Bethenny Frankel follows a business-savvy, would-be actress in hot pursuit of the perfect man, the perfect job, and the perfect body. Burning through men like she burns through calories, our sexy, loud-mouthed heroine grasps at any opportunity that might take her to the top. Listeners will jump at the chance to hear about the thrilling highs and cringe-worthy lows of Bethenny’s first shaky steps into adulthood, told here in a fictional format.

Historia
If there’s a healthy way to grieve, Erin Gaines hasn’t found it. After her husband’s sudden death, the runaway success of the tech company they built with their best friends has become overwhelming. Her nerves are frayed, she’s disengaged, and her frustrated daughter, Shorie, is pulling away from her. Maybe Erin’s friends and family are right. Maybe a few weeks at a spa resort in the Caribbean islands is just what she needs to hit the reset button…

fantastic, as usual from this author
Revisado: 03-13-20
Well, first of all, the narrator's voice (which I have listened to on her other projects) is so perfectly southern its comforting to this Tennessee girl. The Author, Emily Carpenter, sure can write a novel. this was adventurous and enthralling. High energy and suspenseful. I love all of her books. they are all different, but very well written and interesting..

Historia
An icon remembered as vividly in death as she appeared in life, Diana, Princess of Wales, is one of the most enduring personalities of the 20th century, and one of the most enigmatic. Admired, almost worshipped, a forceful presence in society and fashion and a devoted mother, she was also plagued by rumor and scandal throughout her brief life. Using exclusive new interviews and eyewitness testimony, Sarah Bradford now casts aside the gossip and lies to separate myth from truth.

well written, well narrated
Revisado: 08-29-18
This was a very good book. I couldn't stop listening. the reader feels as though they are part of this magical, complicated journey with these women. It's a story that will capture your heart but isn't "fluff"; there is great depth. It's true, it made me reevaluate my choices and made me wonder what my younger self would think. it made me remember parts of myself that have slipped away. I also related very well to the aspects of being a mother, a wife, separated, the whole bit. She wrote about it so honestly! Very good. And a wonderful narrator. She has a lovely voice.
