Good book, but too many audio effects

As usual Thompson’s voice work is incredible. He continually sets the bar higher and higher with each book that he is involved with. The sounds and music continue to make most Star Wars audiobooks a standard to follow.
The story itself is more of what we have to come love and crave with anything involving Thrawn. An incredible amount of content neatly arranged and compacted into this extremely hard to put down audiobook. No spoilers here. If you’re a fan of Thrawn then this story is a no-brainer for your collection.

It’s like a clip show

I honestly thought this would be too “kiddish,” to enjoy but thankfully I was wrong. This is just a fun and entertaining adventure. Great voice work/narration! Easy to listen to and the time will pleasantly fly by. My only greedy gripe is the last few chapters could of had more room to breath and develop. However, it ties everything together and it flows well. Can be enjoyed alone or with the family.

Had to force myself to stop listening else risk all of my time becoming devoted to this audiobook. Story, voice work, flow, was just right for me. Entrancing, entertaining, and enthralling! You won’t be disappointed in selecting this as a listening option.

A syringe full of nostalgia

Gotta admit, I was seriously blown away. What a freaking fun book/reading! It had everything on my “high expectations of awesome,” check list! 1: future setting - check, 2: References from everything you not only grew up in but consumed in mega doses of ooey gooey cream filled goodness - check, 3: Wil freaking Wheaton narrating - check!
No spoilers here so don’t bother looking. I want you to enjoy the same wow, bam, smash, fun that I did. I will definitely listen to this again, and again....
