Democracy Awakening
Revisado: 10-06-23
In the last few years, we have seen threats to our democracy. Indeed, some of them are so subtle that they go unnoticed. One of the best things we can do as citizens is to learn more about our democracy. To learn about its origins, and how it developed can give us information on how to protect it. Professor Richardson gives a concise and succinct history that can only help but to frame the important issues facing us today in a way that we can all understand. This book truly should be required reading for all of us.

Historia
Donald Trump will be president again, whether he is on the ballot or not. That is because Trumpism is overtaking the Republican Party and will mount a vigorous comeback, potentially in the hands of a savvier successor. This prophecy will come true, according to Miles Taylor, if we do not learn the lessons of the recent past. With the 2024 election approaching, the formerly “Anonymous” official is back with bombshell revelations and a sobering national forecast. Taylor predicts what could happen inside “Trump 2.0,” the White House of a more competent and more formidable copycat.

A Warning We Should Take Seriously
Revisado: 09-24-23
I will admit that while I follow politics, I had missed the unmasking of Anonymous and had not read the author’s first book. However, as I watched an interview a couple of weeks ago, I picked up my computer and immediately purchased this book. It has an apt title. This is a warning to all of us who fear for our democracy. Miles smartly organizes the book in chapter pairs- painting incredible pictures of his time in the administration is Part 1 of each chapter while offering suggestions, thoughts, and fears on how a second maga presidency might deal with the same issue if given another opportunity. Pick this one up.
