Another amazing story by Titus
Revisado: 09-26-23
Not to discredit seersucker but I mainly have this a listen because C.B. Titus who also wrote armor was listed as the author. I don’t really like lost apocalyptic story’s but this honest to god makes me want to play fallout again. I also thought this was a complete story like armor was but I’m surprise and glad to see it’s gonna be ongoing. Can’t wait for the next book!

Very tempted to drop
Revisado: 05-25-23
I love the world building and the characters but this whole book just felt like a filler arc, nothing really significant happened and the author was obviously making the characters do/say stupid shit to stretch out the book which I think is the shortest one in the series. I’m not tryina pay $16 for a filler novel that’s not even entertaining, I wanna see this series to the end but I feel like ugland is just milking it at this point and I’m getting sick of it. Had it not been for the fact that I could marothon the books I would of dropped the series after the second book

Up until now, Montana's gotten by pretending he's a regular guy. Well, a regular, overpowered, god-defeating guy who maybe just learned his hair is in all the wrong places. But the big city is calling, and in order to succeed there, Montana must actually prove himself a deserving duke. If Glaton finds him lacking, Coggeshall could be forced into even further isolation. But if Glaton falls in love with him, the regular guy from Motor City could end up with limitless power, in charge of it all. And just like that, the fate of the entire Empire is in Montana's hands.

I’m only upset I have to wait for the next book
Revisado: 05-12-23
This series was a surprisingly good find, it’s a breath of fresh air when the main character isn’t imedietly overpowered, the world revolves around him, and every other character is 2 dimensional. You could argue the fact that there are a lot of Dues’exmachina moments but he literally has 3 gods backing him so it makes sense. His progression is more slow than I like and he dose a lot of stupid shit like not using the god dam skill books with his hearth to creatbthe ultimate dream team but that is his character and it makes it far more intresting when he ignores the obviously easy solution (that we can see) and finds a surprising on orthodox way to resolve the issue. All in all I love this series, love the world building especially and would really love it if each book was longer.
***spoilers***Also shoutout to Bolto for not lacking, when he came out unloading the crossbow I couldn’t stop smiling, I thought they snatched him and killed him off to the side but he was READY to take out the lord whose name I can’t remember if he made a move on Eliza.

My master created me for his entertainment, leading adventurers to ruin. Betraying them at the last moment, just when their glorious victory was on hand. I have been found again by the newest member of a quartet of dungeon crawlers. Poor fool. This time will be no different. Or does it have to be? Maybe I don't need to spend eternity left in a deep, dark dungeon waiting to devour would-be heroes. Maybe, just maybe, I can take him over and use this new identity to leave and masquerade as an adventurer myself.

Came for a good story got a great one
Revisado: 03-08-23
Let me start off by saying it is a breath of fresh air to have a story not end on some BS cliffhanger. Was just a nice solid story from start to finished, not rushed, not slow paced, and well balanced humor with grit. Instead of a sequel I find myself wanting a movie adaptation. Honestly just spend the credit it’s completely worth it.

Ngl I thought we weren’t getting a 4th book but I’m glad I was wrong. The story is as great as the others and you won’t be disappointed although, withought spoiling anything, I will say something happens in the book that’s mind blowing but was kind of badly executed or rather revealed at the wrong time. Other than that it’s a good listen all n all and worth the credit.

Who would have guessed that? When these cruel gods shuffled Earth like a deck of cards, nothing was in the same place anymore. Monsters, dungeons, and magical items appear scattered across the globe. And suddenly, everyone has access to a new, strange magical card system that gives them magical powers.

Revisado: 11-30-22
Started this book instantly after reading its description and thought it was both hilarious and Interesting. First off the book brings up so very good points on morality, religion, and existential questions. There were a lot of times that I had to pause and think about what they just said cause it blew my mind. Secondly the characters are great. Everyone of them are interesting in their own way and honest to god makes you glad whenever their in the scene again. Thirdly and I think my most favorite thing is the large amount of foreshadowing and well execution of said foreshadowing that gose on in the book. But honestly enough with the reviews go listen and enjoy and I promise it’s even better than you think it is.
