Fun characters, some laughs and great mysteries overall. When you read the whole series, the characters and deeper story of family bonds and great love develop in an arc that culminates into a gripping and beautiful finale. Absolutely worth the investment of time to read the whole series straight through.

Yes there is explicit language, but not what I would call pornographic. The story is well written. Not a mystery, more like a “cat and mouse” where we are waiting to see how the culprit will be found out. Like a procedural drama

Nice addition to an Austen tale

Written close to the Austen style. Rounded out the characters well. Had some suspense and humor. Didn’t really like the voice for Isabella. Made her sound haughty which is definitely not in character. LOVED having the alternate ending.
