Historia
She charmed America with her smart, likable, down-to-earth personality as she campaigned for her husband, then vice-presidential candidate John Edwards. She inspired millions as she valiantly fought advanced breast cancer. She touched hundreds of similarly grieving families when her son, Wade, died tragically at age 16 in 1996. Now she shares her experiences in Saving Graces, an incandescent memoir of Edwards' trials, tragedies, and triumphs.

extremely well written... inspiring!
Revisado: 03-11-19
Read this book only on a lark. More obligatory then anything else..but LOVED IT. Excellent grammar, cadance, story telling.
Narrator superb. Rarely have i wanted to meet an author after reading their book- but alas my desire to do so this time will have to go unfulfilled. Very sad, because this book was not only crafted beautifully, but it also challenged me, motivated me, and helped to bring many of my own life issues into focus! Thank you Elizabeth Edwards... i look forward to meeting you in heaven one day!

Historia
In this definitive biography, renowned Bible scholar, Anglican bishop, and best-selling author N. T. Wright offers a radical look at the apostle Paul, illuminating the humanity and remarkable achievements of this intellectual who invented Christian theology - transforming a faith and changing the world. For centuries, Paul, the apostle who "saw the light on the Road to Damascus" and made a miraculous conversion from zealous Pharisee persecutor to devoted follower of Christ, has been one of the church's most widely cited saints.

concept/ ideas interesting- but execution flawed.
Revisado: 02-11-19
Really wanted to like this book... but it rambled on, despite a good narrator.
Repeatedly kept trying to " read" this book, starting over numerous times - but it could never hold my attention .
i repeatedly fell asleep because of its incoherant writing process. Very disappointing because its concepts were good- but but poorly executed!

Historia
Meet Ove. He's a curmudgeon - the kind of man who points at people he dislikes as if they were burglars caught outside his bedroom window. He has staunch principles, strict routines, and a short fuse. People call him "the bitter neighbor from hell". But behind the cranky exterior there is a story and a sadness.
