Def meant for the entire family.
Almost could have been written by a child.
Narrator monotone and sounds like he’s reading.
Worst book out if the 257 I’ve listened to on Audible.

Over the top intricate detail.

unnecessary minute detail constitutes most of the content.
It over shadows the main plot.
This is my 4th novel of his and they all have way too much of the same kind of filler. Im done. Ive already listened to all of Stephen kings novels and been looking for a horror writer to fill the void until Kings next release. I’m beginning to appreciate more how good king is because every other author I’ve tried has been a disappointment.

Incoherent and boring

I bought this book hoping for a story with a plot and characters that would draw me in.
All I got was blah blah blah.
I think Dan Simmons is auditioning for a role in a Shakespeare play.
Half way through this book and Im bored to tears, literally.
Nothing but incoherent gibberish.
This was my 225th Audible book purchase and probably the least enjoyable of them all.
If you have trouble falling asleep this book is for you, I only listen on my daily commute and for the first time had to pull over for a nap while listening this.
A root canal would be more enjoyable.

I’m the idiot for buying a 2nd book from this guy.
Less than an hour left and still nothing happens. This Tremblay guy is a straight up scammer.
No substance, no horror, not really a story here.
I have purchased 225 books so far. His 2 book were 224 and 225.
Im tempted to cancel my Audible account due to getting screwed by this charlatan.

Ok so I’m still waiting for something to happen and theres only 3 hours left.
What is up with these reviewers “I couldn’t put it down” BS This is a behind the scenes documentary of sorts of a non story about a non movie.
It’s the 225th novel I’ve purchased on Audible and is by far the biggest waste of 1 credit ever.
I don’t know why these other reviewers are pandering to this author. Makes me wonder how authentic those reviews are.
Man this book s_cks.

Usually this far along your in the thick of it but it still feels like the beginning chapters.
I’ve lost all interest.
I’ll probably finish it eventually when I got nothing else to listen to while driving.
