The blessing of this book is the transparency that it brings to one in regard to the struggles of the faith. One's relationship with God is based on His love and Mercy which reaches its peak at Calvary. Pope Francis discusses the power of the grace of the atonement and how God reaches to us in love and with assistance to be overcomers.

Hebrews 4:14-16
Christ Is Our High Priest

14 So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. 15 This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin. 16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Both the subject of mercy and having a great high priest in Jesus Christ who empathizes with us refer both to the temptations leading to sin, and the suffering, pain and agonies that come as a result to original sin. The Rite of Reconciliation gives dynamic power to overcome and diffuses the power of the Kingdom of darkness. It is amazing.

This enlightening and endearing book is an anchor when honing in on prayer as it strengthens faith and creates the climate of prayer. The story and narration draws one into the content which is sacred scripture revealed by a very spiritually mature pastor and leader in the faith walk. Even after multiple listens, the content is still inspiring and spawns intimacy with God.

The author does not exegete which means he is not an expounder or textual interpreter. In the narration of the Book of Hebrews, he overlooks very important themes, particularly the Priesthood of Christ in the life of the Believer. He has a very broad approach to the text and digresses extensively from the subject of the text, even to teach on Psalm 2 and the Book of Revelation so that it is hard to tell what chapter of the book is that he is supposed to be teaching on. He also inserts extended sections with a very secular approach as he will remark on a concept, like systems for example, and give a scientific equation which may be accurate and interesting but if you wanted commentary on the Book of Hebrews, you are not getting it. As well, he gets a concept drawn from the text that spawns a thought about some other Book of the Bible that he likes, but does not make the attempt to exegete or give an understanding of the book he is currently teaching about and in the context wherein it is written. There is no regard for the continuity of the subject matter in the teaching.

At times he reveals his lack of knowledge by asserting certain things about the book he is teaching on where if he knew the canon selection process, he would know that he has no premise to assert certain remarks about the authors and purpose for which the book is written, etc.

The author does a great job of entertainment in his dissertation but says things that are very dangerous as he undercuts the very foundation of the terms of being selected for the canon of scripture and other remarks that are of the nature of folklore.

What did you love best about Daily Scripture Reading and Meditation?

Revelation of vital faith and itsBiblicsl premise

Who was your favorite character and why?

Author - her faith

Would you listen to another book narrated by Gayle Ambrielle Loflin?

Only to get the story of author's faith

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It exceedingly strengthens my faith

Any additional comments?

Cons -the repetition of overly simplistic instructions that are unnecessary is annoying. The narrator seems to be talking to a child-like audience. This undermines the story-the author's' faith - the tags, type of book are repeated each day- Other people wrote that she is pleasant. I think she over does it. Preferences!

Would you listen to The Power of God's Word for Healing: Vital Keys to Victory over Sickness, Volume 1 again? Why?

This book is very clear and founded on scripture. Anne Buchanan takes you through the steps to receive healing as she presents the divine covenant of healing and explains it. This is a very easy to understand book written for the individual to be brought to faith to receive their own healing. Since the steps are made clear, anyone can assist another person as well in receiving healing, like a family member and friend. As well, this would be a good book to study in church groups. The important thing is knowing what scripture says about healing and then knowing what is required of the individual, both factors are thoroughly covered in this book. Of all the books I have seen on healing, this is the best for walking you through the process of understanding the healing covenant and how to receive your healing. She answers questions about symptoms after you pray and the perseverance in prayer and claiming the Bible promises in spite of how you feel. Healing is not always instant so it is necessary to understand how your faith brings into manifestation the promises of God. This book will get you through the process.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. This book is instructional, and to assimilate the steps to healing, one may also want to listen to it over and over again. The sections are clear and founded on scripture. To receive healing, one has to know God's covenant with us, and deal with one's emotions and come to understand and to act on it. This means you should be in this book daily, focusing on the scriptures and internalizing them so that you are in faith rather than fear and complacency.

God Is Love and The Way The Truth The LIfe

Revisado: 02-27-11

The principle of moving in a positive direction to achieve results is the essence of this book. Talking negatively blinds one to all that is positive. The Bible tells us that we have what we say, which is exactly what this book is about. Sin has disconnected mankind from God so that one is left only with one's own faculites, as a result of the fall in the Garden of Eden. Adam and Eve believed the wrong words, Satan is not the source of life, and spirit guides which are demons lead mankind away from THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. Demons will mimick God and His ways just enough to get your confidence away from Him as Sovereign Lord, the designer and creater of the universe, to yourself. We are given the inate ability by our creator to believe, which is to have faith, but Satan poisons mankind by converting faith to fear, which gives him the open door to take control of our being and life. The Bible says in Philippians 4:6-7 "Don't fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God's wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It's wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life." Success is a matter of believing God and saying what you want instead of believing adverse circumstances and operning the door further to the negative spirits causing them. The curse is reversed through Jesus Christ.who paid the price for sin so that Satan would not have any power over us. So we can believe God and trust in Him, His power is greater than anything militating against us.

Galatians 3:13 "Christ purchased our freedom [redeeming us] from the curse (doom) of the Law [and its condemnation] by [Himself] becoming a curse for us, for it is written [in the Scriptures], Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree (is crucified)"

This book is about the manward side of caling into being what you want
