Historia
As polyamory continues to make its way into the mainstream, more and more people are exploring consensual nonmonogamy in the hope of experiencing more love, connection, sex, freedom and support. While for many, the move expands personal horizons, for others, the transition can be challenging, leaving them blindsided and overwhelmed. Beyond the initial transition to nonmonogamy, many struggle with the root issues beneath the symptoms of broken agreements, communication challenges, increased fighting and persistent jealousy.

The perfect start for consensual Non-Monogamy
Revisado: 09-13-24
This is so far the best book I've read on non monogamy to get you started. Especially for people in existing relationships. It has a multitude of tools and exercises that are worth gold. Psychological concepts introduced are very well picked and useful. The stories included portray the journey well. A strong recommendation. The book Polysecure completes it very well. I wish you all the best on your CNM journey.

Historia
Few of us have lived through the kind of suffering Teal Swan endured: 13 years of ritual abuse at the hands of a cult. But all of us have been fractured by trauma in one way or another. Your wounds may be visible as bodily scars; or they may show up in the form of anxiety, depression, or PTSD; or you may simply be struggling in your life for reasons you don’t simply understand. The good news is that you can heal your wounds.

I strongly recommend this summary. I also strongly recommend the full books. Understanding might be triggered by various ways Zeland explains this topic

Lessons from a truly loving soul
Revisado: 01-28-23
You don't have to agree how Dr. Peterson reaches his conclusions or how he interprets ancient texts. But the rules hold firm, and they come from a deep place.
These rules stem from understanding of the need for enlightenment (a process, not a state), for wisdom and humility, while retaining your strength and value.
It comes from the understanding your roots, and those of your surroundings. Gratitude for sacrifice and paths taken by those that came before you. Appreciation of those around you now. Self respect coming not through perfection, but from accountability for your growth and applying small steps each day. Among other things.
This message is sorely needed in times in which we are all to keen to forget the sacrifices, wisdom and lessons from our ancestors - and repeat them. Perhaps with more impetus this time. Lessons not learned like to come back with a vengeance.
In short:
Love each other.
Read that again.

Must read introduction to systems thinking
Revisado: 12-13-22
Excellent explanation of basic concepts of systems thinking. Chapters on potential scenarios with problem and possible solution very valuable. Ending chapter with what type of thinking patterns bring us closer to benefiting from system thinking is inspiring.
While listening to this book I had numerous reflections on various disciplines and where they implemented system thinking and where it was lacking. I am sure you will too. This book will benefit you in deepening your existing knowledge, which is priceless.

An excellent follow-up to Influence. Powerful insight into how we react and can be included. One amazing conclusion (not stated in the book explicitly) is that mindfulness and conscious creation of our surroundings both protect us and empower us.
