Historia
Ash: I still don't know how it happened. One minute, I was arguing with my arrogant competitor - our usual trash-talk over who deserves the larger commission. But somehow, I went from throwing down to kneeling down.... It can never happen again. I don't even like him. He's too slick. He's a manipulating, mansplaining party boy in preppy clothes. So why can't I get him out of my head? Sebastian: Ash is my missing my piece. She's the sweet cream to my gourmet espresso. And nothing gets me going faster than her contempt for me.

Great performance

I had to laugh quite a few times when the male performer was doing his part. He seemed to hone in on that character so well.

Delightful and hilarious

The duo made this walk through clan history entertaining. I found myself laughing on numerous occasions. They tied in Outlander with history and their own lives. I’d listen to a second book from them because their banter was amusing.

Historia
Ava thinks love should be found in the real world, not on apps that filter men by height, job, or astrological sign. She believes in feelings, not algorithms. So after a recent breakup and dating app debacle, she decides to put love on hold and escapes to a remote writers' retreat in coastal Italy. At the retreat, she's not allowed to use her real name or reveal any personal information. When the neighboring martial arts retreat is canceled and a few of its attendees join their small writing community, Ava, now going by "Aria", meets "Dutch", a man who seems too good to be true.

Not her best work
Revisado: 01-04-21
I love “Can You Keep a Secret” and a few other of her books. This one just didn’t feel like something she would write. I did like the realistic feel of the online dating frustration that most women have, but the story wasn’t as catchy or funny as she usually is.
