Historia
In the heart of the South Pacific lies Point Nemo, the most desolate and remote place on Earth. At its core is a dead zone, devoid of life, where government agencies crash their obsolete satellites and space stations, confident they won't harm a soul. When the International Space Station suffers a catastrophic failure and plummets through the atmosphere, it's here that Mission Specialist Julie Rohr, an astrobiologist studying living space dust called xylem, finds herself marooned. Julie's only hope for rescue lies in the hands of her estranged father, Dr. Finn Maddern, a renowned mycologist.

Hopefully a movie
Revisado: 06-27-24
I never know what to say in these reviews without them being spoilers. It's a good plot, story progresses at a good pace. Character dialogue isn't forced. I would recommend.

Good opening
Revisado: 04-17-24
This is a good opening into a series. Story progressed well, character development moved along nicely. It's not a "former military special forces guy survives the apocalypse" trope. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series!

Historia
Several months after his neighborhood was cloaked in darkness and invaded by the demon-like denizens of a hellish world, life has returned to normal for Miah Gray, a.k.a. Laser Chicken. No longer burdened by PTSD, he is free to enjoy his family and to help pick up the pieces of a pillaged world. At night, he trains with his eight-year-old companion, Bree, a.k.a. Demon Dog, and their neighbors Henry and Sarah, the god-like descendants of Helen of Sparta and the mythological Zeus. All is calm...until new neighbors move in across the street and shatter the peace.

Historia
A hundred million on-line players with thousands of choices, but everyone knows there's only one game: Infinite Reality. When a judge declares it a monopoly, the co-creators become competitors and then very quickly become murder victims with one thing in common: they were all online when they died. Everything points to the sole-surviving creator, Atticus Arching. When the FBI can't find Arching in the real world, they send Agent Daniel Roan and his team to the other side to track him down, only to find out that the game is more than just a game and Arching is more than just a computer programmer. He's the most dangerous person in two worlds and can kill in both.

Infinite Reality is a well written RPG. It focuses on the storyline instead of the game play aspect. It's a great storyline, with a couple twists, that isn't marred with constant "game announcements".

Great insight into the Origins of Gus.
Revisado: 08-05-20
Typical of Mr. Blackmore, another well written book. Really gives a solid foundation to the origins of Gus, and what shaped him into the apocalyptic survival expert he is.
And, as always, Mr. Bray does a phenomenal job giving voice to the characters. 5 stars all around!!

Historia
On July 7, 2007, the first-ever zombie outbreak took place in Brooklyn, NY. Four survivors were able to escape and live through the horrors. These survivors included Angel, Maria, Luis, and Joe. While most literature will say there were four survivors who survived that fateful day, there was one survivor who was never spotted or even mentioned. He will always be known as the unknown survivor of the first outbreak. This survivor is known as George Fisher, and he knows the ins and outs of Hybrid.

Great story
Revisado: 05-18-20
Honestly, this was my first LitRPG book, so I didn't know what to expect. I was not ready for this. The story moves along at a good pace. George, the protagonist, I really liked. He's not your typical 20 something ultra-soldier, he's an every day guy, a janitor.
I'm looking forward to episode 2!

Historia
Her name is Odd. Twelve-year-old Audrey Wyatt bears the unfortunate nickname "Odd", a name even her bar-hopping, alcoholic mother uses when she's sober enough to recognize the girl. Cowed by life, Odd doesn't protest, not when she's deformed as she is. Born with a combination of rare birth defects, Odd's eyes are a startling and dreadful red. Demon eyes is the first thought that springs to mind. The little girl takes care to hide them behind dark sunglasses, something her mother insists on, except when she's trading freak-show peeks for dollars or drinks.

Historia
The fall of mankind begins with just one man, a man who sells his soul piece by piece. Perhaps he does it with the purest of intentions or perhaps he does it because he's a greedy, grasping, evil son of a bitch. Either way the results are the same: Hell on Earth. Jack Dreyden, a doctoral candidate in ancient languages, begins his road to Hell when he translates an ancient scroll that was never supposed to see the light of day.

Another hit from Peter Meredith! Characters are introduced, and quickly endear themselves to you. As is Peter's style, nobody is safe. After my commute home, I'd find myself sitting in my truck in my driveway, just to sneak in one more chapter!

Historia
Eighteen months have passed since New York City was destroyed and Jack Dreyden is still crisscrossing the nation, going after stray demons, only he isn't taking them on as a necromancer dealing in the currency of stolen souls. No, Jack is battling as a sorcerer using his own soul to power spells that he is just beginning to master. Jack thinks that he is the hunter, hot on the trail of his cousin, Robert Montgomery, but in truth, he is being played.

Part two of the Gods of the Undead series. Highly recommend. Great storyline, character development, and plot twists. There were quite a few "I didn't see that coming" moments.
