Historia
Amoral, cunning, ruthless, and instructive, this piercing work distills 3,000 years of the history of power into 48 well-explicated laws. This bold volume outlines the laws of power in their unvarnished essence, synthesizing the philosophies of Machiavelli, Sun Tzu, Carl von Clausewitz, and other infamous strategists. The 48 Laws of Power will fascinate any listener interested in gaining, observing, or defending against ultimate control.

Deep and insightful
Revisado: 02-04-24
This book goes very deep in the dark part of the mind. Be careful, this book should not be threaded lightly and I suggest reading this when you are in a good place mentally.

Historia
In Everthing Is F*cked, Mark Manson turns his gaze from the inevitable flaws within each individual self to the endless calamities taking place in the world around us. Drawing from the pool of psychological research on these topics, as well as the timeless wisdom of philosophers such as Plato, Nietzsche, and Tom Waits, he dissects religion and politics and the uncomfortable ways they have come to resemble one another. He looks at our relationships with money, entertainment, and the internet, and how too much of a good thing can psychologically eat us alive.

Couldn’t read it all
Revisado: 02-03-24
I just read the Subtle art of not giving a f*ck by the same author and I was so impressed that I decided to follow up with this book but it is not even a tiny bit close. Boring as fuck couldn’t finish reading it.

Historia
Since you were old enough to hold a job, you've been hoodwinked to believe that wealth can be created by blindly trusting in the uncontrollable and unpredictable markets: the housing market, the stock market, and the job market. I call this soul-sucking, dream-stealing dogma "The Slowlane" - an impotent financial gamble that dubiously promises wealth in a wheelchair. For those who don't want a lifetime subscription to "settle-for-less", there is an alternative.

This is a must read for everyone. The book gives valuable information on both people that have not yet got out of the 9/5 and for entrepreneurs that are already doing well. Great book!

Good sales lessons

Very informative, quite long but worth the read/listen. I would suggest to not rush trough it but study it as its mostly lessons not a book to just read

A good read but not the best
Revisado: 01-27-23
A good, informative book. There are some points that i agree too and one can learn from but the book is based on previous times and some points don’t matter anymore. Also the speaker’s sense of humor is annoying as hell especially when you listen to it in this audio book.
