Sophie: The Final Verdict tells a remarkable story that could not until now be revealed. Senan Molony was the first national crime correspondent at the scene. From his growing unease at his helper Ian Bailey's conduct, to the astonishing moment when Bailey was arrested for a murder the suspect himself had been covering, it is an insider's account of those infamous early days of a doomed investigation, and the astonishing years to follow - as Bailey, a violent misogynist and pathological liar, escaped trial in his adopted country despite compelling evidence.

Historia
Murder at Roaringwater is the inside story of a young Frenchwoman, Sophie Toscan du Plantier. In this unresolved crime, the victim seemed to have a premonition of her own terrible end. Ever since she was violently killed outside her holiday cottage in the remote countryside in 1996, mystery has surrounded the unresolved case of Sophie Toscan du Plantier. For six years, author Nick Foster has been painstakingly piecing together her life and death, developing an ongoing ‘friendship’ with the Englishman long-suspected of her murder, Ian Bailey, and his partner, Jules Thomas.

Even if you've read every other Sophie case book. add this one to your library. The Irish DPP should be taken out to walk the plank. The whole lot of them. Thankdog Ian Bailey's worthless life was miserable. Now we need to get Jules.

Historia
Just before Christmas, 1996, a beautiful French woman - the wife of a movie mogul - was brutally murdered outside of her holiday home in a remote region of West Cork, Ireland. The crime was reported by a local journalist, Ian Bailey, who was at the forefront of the case until he became the prime murder suspect. Arrested twice, he was released without charge. This was the start of a saga lasting decades with twists and turns and a battle for justice in two countries, which culminated in the 2019 conviction of Bailey - in his absence - by the French Criminal court in Paris.

is that #1 there's a significant cover up that happened and #2 the conviction being vacated will result in a lawsuit resulting in a significant award being made to Chester.

Losing some acquaintances to suicide, I decided to read this atlas to familiarize myself. The most noteworthy of many noteworthy statements was It snuck up on me and I hadn't paid attention to stuff.
The narrator sounds like he's the author in that he reads with such compassion and empathy.

Kattan is a multi-dimensional spirit.
Revisado: 03-29-23
This introspective look at Kattan's life is a great read. "Mango!" is an oft-repeated exclamation whether we're opening fruit or prancing about in our underwear. "What is Love?" is always danced to, Rox style. Probably of all the SNL characters' lines, we use Chris' wide selection the most. My point being that Kattan has wormed his way into our hearts forever. Getting beneath the comedy veneer finds an exceptional and funny persona. Head-shaking moments. Empathy moments. Funny moments. They're all here. Don't miss this.

if you miss Anthony, read this book. His ascerbic wit and hilarious, creative use of cursewords to get the best performance out of assistants and purveyors will have you laughing and thankful you're not a line cook at a popular restaurant. Insider information abounds here. You'll get to hear his sometimes (and, i THINK, intentional--cuz it's just occasional) monotone narration about subjects that ooze enough drama to make up for it. I didn't want this book to end. Thankdog he's narrated all his books. There's an endless supply to get me thru this inexplicable grief. Grief for someone i didn't even know . . . but sure wish I did.
