Arran's story is absolutely fantastic. I was thrilled that Jolie decided to share Arran's story. This story has a darker theme, violence and some dubious consent scenes so please read those trigger warnings. I was enthralled by this story. The plot, some of which is set up in previous books by the author, unravel in the most entertaining fashion. These characters work their way into your heart and mind. Between the push and pull between Arran and the FMC, as well as some intriguing side characters, I was hooked. I did not want this book to end. The narration and sound effects were the cherry on the top of this luscious story.

Oh Valentine, you strong, sweet and sexy man. Woo Hoo! He made me swoon. I wanted to hear his story when Ben's book came out. This tortured soul, betrayed by love, and estranged from Ben was a mystery. I absolutely adore him. These two were made for each other, even if Valentine denies it vehemently. Mia's story was so bittersweet and sad. Mistreated, abused and scared, her courage to do the best for her sweet Tori was impressive. I think she is maybe one of the author's strongest heroines to date.
The story has great pacing, an intriguing plotline with a mystery and lots of spicy with a dash of angst. I love when characters fight their feelings, it brings out all of my own. I cheered, and I sighed in frustration at both Mia and Valentine. But in true championship fashion, the spicy scenes were absolutely eye opening. I could not put this book down. If you love the strong Scottish type, this story was made for you.

Just when I thought the author had done enough to this found band of brothers, she drops this book into the universe. Bam! Scar starts up right as the Sin wraps up. Strap on a helmet and hang on because this book takes the characters and the reader on a ride. The story continues from the previous books in the Dark Island Scots series, so fair warning you need to read the others before starting this one.
This story focuses on Camden, loveable artist and brother trying to survive against the odds and Breeze a woman looking for her sister. This story definitely has a darker element than the other two as the mystery behind the McInver brothers gets even more twisted than before. Honestly I cannot say enough about this story. What a ride. I have no clue what the author is going to do to wrap up this series but I am here for it.

I absolutely love Zachary Webber's narration. He is perfection.

I love the underdog and frankly Wren is a class A underdog. Rejected and scorned by her own family, with failing magic, she finds herself on the wrong side of the law and is faced with an incredible challenge. Become a recruit for the ABI or face a death sentence. Thrust into a training camp faced with unfriendly trainers, new paranormal friends or enemies and the absolute need to win at all costs - she has quite a battle ahead. The author loves to throw curveballs at her characters and Wren faces them like a champ.
I really enjoyed this audiobook. The narration was well done and enhanced the overall experience.

I absolutely loved this book. I have been in love with these families since Storm the Castle. This story features Blayne, the youngest son of Callum and Mathilda from Storm the Castle. I highly suggest that you start from the first series before reading this one, simply because you cannot understand how exceptional this family is without knowing the parents that led the way.

Blayne and his best friend Brodie have been close since their early teens. Brought together by family, they have always been close. A missed opportunity to share a woman opened the door to thoughts neither man wanted to face. Casey is an American working at the family resort. The sparks between the three were instantaneous. The push and pull between them considering what is normal versus what feels right, was well written. Each character has to face his or her own perceptions of what they want in life versus what the feel are forced expectations. The story is full of heat, chemistry, laughs, tears and warmth - so much so that you hate to see the story end.

The narration of this story is simply perfect.

Absolutely loved this audiobook. This book had me cheering, yelling out, groaning in frustration and swooning. I particularly am intrigued with the ending. I adore these misfit characters and truly cannot wait to see what adventures/dangers come along next. Sin's story is absolutely perfectly narrated by Zachary Webber. Zara's rendition of Violet was wonderful too. Great story.

Please note, I read this book before ever listening to the audio book and loved it. Leo and Viola's story simply melted my heart. The both are so vulnerable, handling pain beyond their years with beauty and far more gracefully than I daresay I ever would. Two young hearts with hurts that together become one. Fantastic. The narration was superb. I mean who doesn't love Frank Ryan and Ella Lynch? They are perfect representations of Leo and Viola. And of course, I absolutely adored Gordain in this story. The story was paced well and had drama, suspense and that ending are exactly the balm a listener needs after going on a ride with this author.
