Awesome addition to the Commune series

What a great addition to the commune series! Gayou and Ford Put together a great book, impossible to tell which sections were written by which author. I loved the introductions of new characters and a new setting.

the story was painfully predictable. no character development, no substance. and at one point there was a very bizarre, completely out of place sexual scene. it was not a good book.

a whole lot of story packed into a single book

let me start by saying I'm not a space Odyssey sci-fi Opera fan. but this book was really damn good!
Craig allenson has a remarkable ability to really push the narrative along at a fast pace. there were so many changes of settings, characters, challenges, etc. I think he has a very unique ability to progress a story very quickly without getting drawn into side stories, lengthy monologues, or backstory. a lot of very unique characters, unique descriptions of the aliens, it almost seems a bit far-fetched but not so much that it comes across as ridiculous.

Solid zombie-pocalypse series

I like the setting of The late 80s, excellent mix of unique characters, it felt gritty and realistic. well, as realistic as a zombie series can be. I love that the author didn't waste time diving into bizarre and far-fetched explanations about how the virus occurred(Extinction cycle 🤮). it's a pretty straightforward story which I appreciate. zombies, soldiers, civilians, a few jerks thrown in the mix, it was great.

meh... average, but listenable

I figured I'd give this series a try. I enjoyed The Trackers series by the same author/narrator combination.
this series was okay, a bit absurd at times, wasn't really crazy about the description of the variants. I understand it's sci-fi but some things are just too far fetched. I found it similar in many ways to the Arisen series, but not nearly as good. Bronson Pinchot does a decent job narrating but he has a particular affect which is bothersome at times. Sometimes he'll finish a sentence by slowly emphasizing certain words and it just feels weird.
I wish I had spent my audible credit on something else.

gritty vigilante crime story

great story. not really a fan of the genre but figured I'd give it a try very well done, intriguing plot, narration was fantastic of course, would highly recommend! it's a great spin on the superhero/vigilante genre.

if you like the Communists series by Joshua guy you then you will like this series as well. I appreciate the realism and humidity displayed in the characters. I also like that it doesn't involve zombies, or bizarre government conspiracies.

I was a big X-Files fan back in the day. This brought me right back. Very well done, engaging, felt like I was listening to the actual TV show.

good book, interesting finale to the trilogy. Molles does a great job keeping your attention with characters you want to believe in.
