It was a good book, not great for me
Revisado: 10-14-24
I love Angeline Fortin's books, she's an amazing author.
I adore Kirsten Potter and anything she narrates, she is top notch!
This was a good book, a fairly nice listen, but it took me some time to warm up to the character Bronte. She was too brash, to agumentative, she was just too much. If you know you're time traveling to another time in the past (over and over again), adapt to that time, stop being so over the top, geesh, blend in!
And the biggest pet peeve was calling her grandmother, Granny! It just grated on my nerves to hear her calling her Granny. The woman was not an old, knarly, spinster, but calling her Granny (see even you can't take that word to many times), it drove me nuts.
Tris and the other characters were likable, even loveable. A decent story and I got through this book, but it wasn't one of my favorites.

TERRIFIC BOOK!!!
Revisado: 09-16-24
Amazing writing, wonderful story by Author Angeline Fortin
Amazing narration by Kirsten Potter
From start to finish this book was simply TERRIFIC. Great characters, narration of each characters voice was spot on, the story was perfect from start to finish and never boring. You are transported back in time and live through the eyes of the characters.
If you enjoy time travel romance, with a bit of comedy, drama and joy....I encourage you to listen to this book! You will not be dissapointed.
I look forward to this series and more from Angeline Fortin.

Historia
I’m the last single mom standing. We had a plan. Move into my great aunt’s old house and raise our kids together. Just four best friends, doing their best to stay afloat. But then three of them had to go and fall in love. Now, my crumbling brownstone is filled with loving couples, leaving me in the cold.

Love this book!!!
Revisado: 09-09-24
A great ending to this series! I hated that the series had to end, but enjoyed a beautiful ending (you'll have to listen to see how it ends). With that being said, this story was very well written by Daphne Elliot, a slow burn, romantic journey. Great narration by Samantha Brentmoor and Joe Arden.
Just enough sugar and spice and not over the top steam. The character of Enzo was so wonderful, you will adore his big Italian family. You'll love him from start to finish for Dahlia and her twins. Loved how all the characters were writen into the story and overall enjoyed this book.
A must read for sure.

Things that stress out this widowed single mom: high fructose corn syrup, intrusive thoughts about my son getting swept up by a tornado, and the sexiest hockey player to grace this planet. Oh, and the fact that I’m also said hockey player’s physical therapist. But we’ll lock that tidbit away in the same nightstand as my battery-operated toys.

Another good book in this series
Revisado: 08-27-24
I am enjoying this MomCom series. Swati MH wrote very well that I even had some laugh out loud moments.
Book 3 was a good story, great characters and I enjoyed that all the characters from the first 2 books were included. The family dynamic is wonderful.
I loved the narration of Samantha Brentmoor and Teddy Hamilton...great job!
My only drawback is there seemed to be way too much steam between the main characters. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the steam, the romance, the build up and anticipation, bring it on!. But this book just had it going on through the entire story.
Overall, I would certainly recommend this book as well as the two books prior. Now I am going on to book 4!

Beckett Langfield is grumpy, rich and hates kids. I’m an overworked, overstressed, and overweight single mom. The only reason we’re getting married is because he needs to fix a PR disaster and I am available. As in sitting next to him, in a bar, when he has this brilliant idea. Considering I just got divorced, I’m not looking to do that again. But Beckett makes me an offer that I literally can’t refuse, so I don’t.

Perfect start to this series
Revisado: 08-22-24
Brittanee Nicole did a great job writing the story for Beckett and Liv!
Narration is always wonderful when you've got Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden.
Loved the concept of these 4 best friends/moms moving into a delapidated old brownstone and sharing their lives and support.
With the addition of Beckett joining the group it only adds to the story.
This book has fun, spice, laughs, romance and great characters from the children to the adults working, loving and living together.
Great read/listen and I'll be grabbing the remaining 3 books to this series.

All I want is one night. One night away from the falling down brownstone filled with my three best friends, a broody billionaire, and our seven children. Oh, and you can’t forget those adorable raccoons. But the universe apparently has other ideas because I get drunk and sleep with the baseball player. Now two little lines turn my escape into a completely new adventure. But we’re just going to co-parent not get into anything serious.

What an amazingly written and narrated book!
This is the second book of The Momcoms Series and so far in the series I am not dissapointed.
Just enough laughter, just enough spice, just enough drama and perfect RomCom!
Jenni Bara wrote a great story for Dillan and Courtney. Loved their characters and enjoyed the rest of the characters in the series.
You will not be dissapointed. I'm heading to get books 3 and 4!

All normal sights since the Great Collision happened twenty-six years ago. Well, not normal for everyone. Larissa Miller may have been born after the Great Collision, but as a history teacher who lives in the human-only city, she has never come into contact with any other race or species, nor has she wanted to.

Revisado: 07-29-24
Wonderful and descriptive book written by Danielle Monsch. And even better to bring you into the story with the amazing narration of Tavia Gilbert (one of the best in the narration world). I was transported into this world of Gargoyls, Vampires, Humans, Maiges and other worldly creatures.
A great book to listen too. Good characters, perfect narration given to each character. I would certainly suggest this book to anyone that enjoys fantasy/romance/drama and chaos.

"WOW"!!! Another amazing story by Linda Castillo! She's done it again and given us a wonderful storyline filled with drama, thrill, mystery, and the wonderful cast and crew of Painters Mill!
No one narrates a story like Kathleen McInerney, she is one of the best in narration, using different voices and weaving the story as she's bringing the listener into the world of Painers Mill, Ohio. With the collaboration of writer and narrator you are transported into their world.
I've listened to all of the Kate Burkholder stories/books and this one is another one I highly recommend!

Everyone refers to the St. Cecelia as “the Saint.” If you grew up coming here, you were “a Saint.” If you came from the wrong side of the river, you were “an Ain’t.” Traci Eddings was one of those outsiders whose family wasn’t rich enough or connected enough to vacation here. But she could work here. One fateful summer she did, and married the boss’s son. Now, she’s the widowed owner of the hotel, determined to see it return to its glory days, even as staff shortages and financial troubles threaten to ruin it. Plus, her greedy and unscrupulous brother-in-law wants to make sure she fails.
