Historia
Power is changing. Private corner offices and management by decree are out, as is unquestioned trust in the government and media. These former pillars of traditional power have been replaced by networks of informed citizens who collectively wield more power over their personal lives, employers, and worlds than ever before. So how do you navigate this new landscape and come out on top? Adam Grant, Wharton organizational psychologist, went to the World Economic Forum in Davos, the epicenter of power, and sat down with thought leaders from around the world, to find out.

So Leftist Its Hard To Imagine
Revisado: 02-11-22
I got this for free and the title sounded interesting, guess I should have read the subheading before diving in. I listened to the entire thing because the performance and editing were so well done, plus it's short when you listen at 2.5x speed, but omg what a hardcore leftist angle this book takes, it's truly scary. If you are woke you will love this

Historia
They say John Maynard Keynes called gold a "barbarous relic." They say there isn’t enough gold to support finance and commerce. They say the gold supply can’t increase fast enough to support world growth. They’re wrong. In this bold manifesto, best-selling author and economic commentator James Rickards steps forward to defend gold — as both an irreplaceable store of wealth and a standard for currency.

This is the second book this week I have listened to by James Richards and his writing and way of explaining complex concepts is fantastic. I can't wait to dive into more of his work.

Fantastic book about the changes that must be made
Revisado: 11-14-18
The author gives a good history of the banking world, from the origins of banking to modern day. Then explains the technology that is coming into play today and why things are changing. He finishes the book with some strong words of warning to banks who are not innovating fast enough and prophesies what will happen if they refuse to move forwards.
Great read

Fantastic read, well impressed!
Revisado: 07-07-18
I really enjoyed this, the author makes some very interesting arguments for legislation of drugs that I never thought of. All though I don't take drugs myself the libertarian in me always just said leave people alone and let them do what they want. Now I have a number of new reasons why it should be legalised
