I adore this author. She has a way of weaving webs that connect in ways you don’t see coming, even as a seasoned thriller reader. The characters are likeable, relatable, and even loveable. This one starts off with a bang, pulled me out of a reading slump! I suggest you check out her other books!

The book that has something for everyone!

Just buy it. I didn’t think I’d like all the ice-skating stuff, but I did and it is so much more than skating. This book can fit in many genres. It’s not quite a thriller, but it will have you pacing! Listened 2 weeks ago, and still wondering what the characters are doing, now, even if I may have hated them a few times within the story! Don’t wait!

Narration is excellent.

I enjoyed this author’s previous books. This one was slightly less enjoyable, for me. It wasn’t as engaging as her last. I really loved all the characters in “Drowning,” and that’s hard to make happen in an action thriller.

I wish there’d been more details about the plane, I think there were missed opportunities there. I also did enjoy all the nuclear ☢️ info, but I found myself having to rewind a lot, meaning it didn’t keep my attention as much as her previous books. It’s an entertaining read. It does grab heartstrings, and keep you on your toes, but at a lesser level. If you enjoyed her last books, check this one out. I never knew what was going to happen in those, but this one was a little predictable in a few spots.

Love this author, don’t skip this one, but it was not for me.

I appreciate this author’s efforts to bring awareness to bullies, however, I hated every character in this book. All of them. If I didn’t enjoy most of Robyn Harding’s work, I’d give this a lower score, but I can’t do that. If you’re character driven, as I am, you likely will struggle. I wanted to kick the main character in the face, multiple times. She plays victim, all the time. Plus, couple that narc quality with being completely selfish, and it’s intolerable. Rarely DNF, almost did, but kept thinking, oh push forward, maybe someone is redeemable…ha! Nope! The narrator did a decent job, perhaps a dash too dramatic, but all I can hear is her voice reading goofy Freida McFadden characters who think all the cringe stuff outloud. Maybe, this reviewer is just a cantankerous and hangry person!

Up all night!

This was a breath of fresh air! I couldn’t figure it out. I kept changing my mind on what I believed had really happened, but I had to know! The narrators were both amazing. The character development captures your heartstrings, there’s someone for everyone in this book. This author is one to watch!

Tricky mystery and dark humor…

I loved that I couldn’t figure this one out until the end! I liked the characters, like didn’t loathe them all (for once). Lots of dark humor, and I found it to be fresh! Don’t miss out.

The best! I miss Rose, already!

Blew through this installment. It was everything I thought it’d be and more. Outstanding characters, excellent unfolding of events, superior execution (see what I did there). Sobbed ugly tears, laughed more than last time, stomped around furious at fictional-sucky-people…. As usual, this had all the the qualities of a thriving masterpiece! I think “Rose-colored” thoughts, all the time! Things she says OUT-LOUD resonate so deeply, and stir my soul. I think she is my favorite character, but I love Cassie so much, as well. It’s too close to call! Bravo, Sarah! #standingovation.
