It was impossible to get past the 1st 20 minutes of it but I kept trying because of all the good review. Why portray a woman as being so unbelievably gullible or just plain Stupid !

I thought that all three books were above average, but the narrator in the 1st two books was far better than the one in this book... His voice fit Dan a lot better than this last narrator

The 1st book was Great!

The 2nd was pretty repetitive.... Getting ready to fight a battle and fighting a battle, then getting ready to fight another battle and fighting another battle. Always coming within an inch of death and then kicking butt. On one hand he was a great Warrior, one of the greatest ! ! but he was far too forgiving far too soft ! :-( really unbelievable...

Good book that most should enjoy listening to

A very interesting book that had a good flow and carried you along to the end. There were a few instances that were rather unrealistic that took my rating down from a 5 to a 3 1/2. (Spoiler) ! !
The worst was near the end when the judge positively knew the jailbird father was a very serious & dangerous risk.... the police were looking for him and the judge was sure he had already been to his house, enough to buy a high price security system and install it .....but he still left his home with his wife sleeping in bed ! When the place detective called him concerned for his wifes safety, the judge turned around & raced back home and traveling at high speed intentionally crashed into the suspects car that was sitting in front of his house ! seemingly not caring if the guy was in his house molesting his wife or killing her ! Prior to that he got drunk and then to make the srory more unbelievable he then tried to drive home "forgot" ! to turn his headlights on and got stopped by the police ! just way too extreme to be believable :-( does too much to make the character unbelievable !

Just couldn't get interested :-(

i think the story had potential but as hard as i tried, I just was not able to get interested enough to keep going after twelve chapters...

Believable and Good !

Not at all when I expected.... I was expecting a good book from Patterson. but this much better than just a good book. Of course there were couple of parts that were a little difficult to believe, but nothing off the wall or totally unbelievable. The premise is a little bit like "One Second After" and it definitely gives you pause to think. In all honestly i can't imagine anybody reading it and not liking it and wondering if or when something of this nature will/can actually happen.

It had a lot of potential !

The book started out pretty strong.... interesting and believable. It had a lot going for it until it got a little on the ridiculous side a little over half way through it. I went ahead and finished it, but there was no possible way to save it. After reading three other books by the same author I just assumed that this book with me on the same level as his other books. I definitely won't even try to read a follow up in this series....

Starts out a little slow but definitely makes up !

A really good and interesting story, and there were not any far out fantasy.... unbelievable parts in it. a very entertaining as well as a written book. i'm ready and anxious to start reading his follow up book that I purchased 30 minutes ago !

By far the worst one in the whole series to date

The beginning all the way to the three quarter mark was very good, about par with the rest of the series. But the near death of Leo and a capturing of Salander was as if a substitute writer were responsible....From that point to the end of the book seemed like it was extremely rushed, not near the quality as the first 3/4 of the book.

Twisted story with a Twisted ending

it was a good story and easy to listen to, I told you along all the way through to the ending.... but the ending scene to keep on going keep twisting and turning just when you thought you understood it out, another twist...
