Not bad a little gruesome

It wasn’t bad. You kinda figured out half the twist early on but the ending throws you for a loop. A couple pretty gross parts but nothing too graphic

Historia
Everyone from Wakarusa, Indiana, remembers the infamous case of January Jacobs, who was discovered in a ditch hours after her family awoke to find her gone. Margot Davies was six at the time, the same age as January—and they were next-door neighbors. In the twenty years since, Margot has grown up, moved away, and become a big-city journalist. But she’s always been haunted by the feeling that it could’ve been her. And the worst part is, January’s killer has never been brought to justice.

Art imitates life
Revisado: 08-22-23
Overall this was a decent story. I enjoyed the time jumps and there was some suspenseful parts in the story. However, I can’t ignore the fact how very heavily influenced this is by the jonbenet case. It’s almost exactly like it and is backed up with a theory on how Jonbenet was killed. I see no issue in basing a story off a case but you need to alter it a little bit to give it your own touch. Overall this isn’t a bad read there was just a couple things I personally didn’t care for
