Historia
When Adrianna arrives at the small, run-down cottage, near the sea in rural Norfolk, she can’t help but breathe a sigh of relief. Here she can forget her life in the city, and the problems she’s left behind there, at least for a while. But – like Adrianna herself – the cottage holds secrets. And when Adrianna finds a mysterious bundle of notes hidden under a floorboard, she can’t shake the idea that they’ve been waiting for her. Especially when – in the rambling, overgrown garden – she then finds a strangely-carved stone, drawing her into a centuries-old mystery…

BRAVO, Claire Marchant !
Revisado: 08-17-24
Highly recommended ***** Well written and perfectly paced timeslip manifesto of a wise-woman's ordeals and possibly the truest example of a 'witch' story for modern day readers. Excellent narration by Antonia Beamish!

Historia
Growing up, Daphne always knew Peter Pan would come for her. The way he'd come for her mother, and her grandmother Wendy before that. The Darling girls. Their stories are all the same: the forever-young boy at their window after their thirteenth birthday, and the shimmering, magical land behind a star. When Peter doesn't show for Daphne until she's seventeen, inexplicably full-grown and with no excuse for his tardiness, Daphne doesn't know what to think.

a well-intentioned shallow mess...
Revisado: 08-08-24
YA romance fodder. I'm left with so many questions - and the ending left me frustrated. The female protagonist does little to break through the denial of an abusive relationship . Imogen Wilde, excellent narration, whose effort saved this piece.

Bravo to R.W. Green for expanding upon the legacy of these endurable characters! I've read every volume of the series and "Hot to Trot" was the first to bring on fits of laughter! Thank you for keeping the light on Lilac Lane.

Historia
From the author of When We Lost Our Heads, a spellbinding story about two gifted orphans - in love with each other since they can remember - whose childhood talents allow them to rewrite their future. The Lonely Hearts Hotel is a love story with the power of legend. An unparalleled tale of charismatic pianos, invisible dance partners, radicalized chorus girls, drug-addicted musicians, brooding clowns, and an underworld whose economy hinges on the price of a kiss. In a landscape like this, it takes great creative gifts to thwart one’s origins.

WOW! Strong characters and superb writing!
Revisado: 07-13-21
Loved this novel! IMHO, If I were casting this to film the heroine Rose would be played by funnybone actress (Baroness Von Sketch) Meredith MacNeil. And Natasha Lyonne (Orange is the New Black) would own the role of Poppy.

Historia
Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better? In The Midnight Library, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision.
