It's time to rethink the rules that keep us from living life in full color...and break them! Time is too short not to eat a slice of cake for breakfast - especially our own birthday cake, if we are blessed to live another year to enjoy it. Rules are made to be broken! Harm no one, but break a small rule every day, and find yourself feeling more vibrant than ever!

Suspensful Teen Paranormal
Revisado: 02-23-14
Would you listen to Something Wicked again? Why?
Yes I would listen again, I enjoyed LC Kane's portrayal of the different characters.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The main character Ann was my favorite character, I found her believable and easy to empathize with.
What about LC Kane’s performance did you like?
I really liked how she portrayed all the different characters in the book it really made you want to listen to the next chapter immediately.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The end was very suspenseful, I was on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what would happen.
Any additional comments?
The only thing I wasn't fond of is the chapter where Eric is talking to his grandmother, without giving any spoilers I just don't like when things aren't resolved by the end of the book and this part is just left open-ended.

Great narration overcomes small storyline problems
Revisado: 01-02-14
What did you love best about Playing for Time?
The narration really kept my attention and I never had to wonder who was talking, the different characters were very clear.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Joanna was my favorite character, I really enjoyed how she tried to change her life by giving herself more challenging work.
Have you listened to any of LC Kane’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
This was my first LC Kane book
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
A few times I laughed at Ryder, the male protagonist, when he was helping Joanna's elderly neighbor.
Any additional comments?
There was a few points in the story that didn't feel realistic, like when Joanna is beaten up and then her bruising and soreness magically disappear when Ryder starts to make love to her. However the great character portrayal by LC Kane kept me hooked and wanting to know what happened next.
