I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I couldn't count how many times I thought while listening to it "Yes, That is exactly how I feel about a particular situation or issue" .....and I'm an American" To sum up my humble opinion of this book, 1. Meghan and Harry haren’t left the monarchy, they're leading it. 2. Charles should have stepped aside and allowed William be King. The world hasn't forgotten about Diana. Camilla isn't "Queen" she is a lucky Mistress that broke up a marriage, and made HRH Queen Elizabeth's, Diana's, William's and Harry's life a living hell. And 3. Abolish this antiquated monarchy, really what is the point at this time in history. Let Charles finish out his life, as it is phased out. Turn the castles into money making tourist attractions. Really enough is enough for blessed sakes.

Refreshingly, Lady Mary doesn’t allow the rigid conventions & expectations of her time to stifle her colourful personality and sharp intellect; but instead embarks on a double life, using her natural detective skills to much success. Along the way, she encounters Colonel Walter Trefusis ('Tre' to his friends). He also has mysterious secrets, they fall in love. A gorgeously evocative, sweeping romance, with fascinating period detail.

The long-term impact on Harry from losing his Mother at such a pivotal age is extremely obvious in his memoir. Early parental loss is often associated with negative outcomes including anxiety; depression; prolonged grief; negative effects on sense of self; increased risk for suicide, substance abuse, and eating & sleeping problems; reduced quality of life; and changes to how survivors approach adult relationships. At times I teared up listening to his words as the chapters progressed. Harry's pain and continued suffering is palpable. I couldn't help having the same thought over and over again as I was devouring his book. I pray I do not hear or read a headline in the future that Harry took his own life because he just couldn't cope. Growing up in such an emotionally void family; that doesn't speak or share important feelings and thoughts as the decades parade on must in itself be torture. I am so glad he was able to bodily escape to freedom- but he hasn't mentally or emotionally escaped yet. I wish him peace, and send my love universally to him.

Overall, I enjoyed reading and felt it was a useful chunk of history with implications for monetary theory, investment theory, government corruption, political wrangling and more. Still, I'd never recommend the book to anyone who wants to know HOW to Buy and Sell gold & silver. The author only touchs upon that subject in chapter 23, and still only briefly.

Thank you Demi for your courage in writing this book. I have enjoyed every movie of Demi’s and she has been an inspiration for me for many years. I feel as if I owe her the respect and love to read her story. So many of us can relate to your story. Childhood is hard, parenting is hard and marriage is hard. But knowing your own "self" may be the hardest thing we learn here on this planet. But so worth it, if done correctly!
I enjoyed reading your story, and reflecting on my own. You are an extremely strong women. It took much courage to write your memoir. Thank you again.....❤

“and when all the wars are over, a butterfly will still be beautiful.” ...

I was touched by the self-transformation that Blue goes through. The heroine of this story is just as a hero should be, she is spunky & audacious, resilient & strong, courageous & high-spirited. She is intelligent, sassy, witty, as well as beautiful. Her sheer tenacity and transformation throughout the story is awesome. The basis of this story is really about Blue Echohawk and her finding out who she was, and who she's meant to be in the future. There is a lot of underlying sadness in this story, but also an uplifting perception I felt when it comes to Wilson and Blue's relationship. He is a teacher and she is the student in high school, but its not a forbidden love story. The end of the story has a good twist that left me feeling that all is going to be alright for this perpetually plagued girl. Another 5-Star rating from me ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. I'm always amazed at this writer. I've read several of her novels by now, and each one is a treasure. I would definitely recommend this book - with a suggestion... don't give up on it, give it time, and I promise it will fully engulf you.

Sabastian Maniscalco is going to be super famous someday. I'll place a wager on this fact!
Observational humor, his timing is terrific. He must be exhausted after a show, as he is dancing all over the stage miming his words and hands. his facial expressions are hysterical. 🤣😂🤣😂🤣‼

My review of "The Law of Moses." It is a romance with a supernatural suspense twist as it follows a pair into their 20s. Seventeen year old Georgia, who has been infatuated by Eighteen year-old Moses ever since they were children. Harmon's stories have unadulterated characters and emotions that can jump out of the page and into her readers’ hearts. Sweet young love always comes with heartbreak. Another five star review from me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. I read this book won the 2014 Whitney Award for best General Fiction. I am highly recommending this book with a warning. Expect some tears along the way.

This is the 4th Amy Harmon novel I've read and I'm becoming vividly aware of my responsiveness to this particular author. I believe it is partly because of the precise, distinct and purposeful use of words. Amy Harmon is a superior wordsmith. I also believe my post-read contemplative reflection stems from the comprehensive richness she weaves in her stories. Another five star rating from me ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. If this book was made into a movie, I believe it would be EPIC. I highly recommend this book for a man or a woman.
