Historia
Thirty-seven-year-old Elayna Leopold used to be a New York magazine editor, until she and her young family moved to suburban New Jersey. Two years ago, the death of an infant son sent her into a deep depression, a darkness that begins to lift in the company of a handsome, unattached neighbor. As she fights yearnings that could destroy everything that gives her life shape, a threat to her young daughter's welfare emerges from an unlikely source.

Lowlife Cheating Wife
Revisado: 04-10-22
She didn’t deserve her husband or her daughter. Hopefully Paul will get a DNA test and divorce her. Selfish and lowdown woman that didn’t deserve a happy ending. She put her child in danger with a pedophile sho she could screw a kid. She was no better than her dad.

Historia
When I declared sports medicine as my major and every man narrowed their eyes, that saying proved true. It was true when my ex-husband decided I'd give up my career when our daughter was born. And again when I divorced the Chief of Police in our small town, and he made it painfully clear that I could leave him, but I would never be free. Landing the job as the new athletic trainer for Stratford's high school team is my chance to start over. And walking into a male-dominated sport and staff, I'm ready for the challenge. I'm not ready for Jordan Becker.

A Tale of Tennessee at it’s Best and Worst
Revisado: 02-09-22
Although not a native of Tennessee Kandi Steiner captured small town Tennessee in a very realistic way. The passion for high school football and the crookedness of Tennessee politics hit home with me having grown up there. I will add this to my list of books I read (or listen to) yearly. Takes me home.

Historia
Texas Ranger Rory Yates is not keen for hero status. But it's unavoidable once his girlfriend, country singer Willow Dawes, writes a song about his bravery. Rory escapes his newfound fame when he's sent to the remote West Texas town of Rio Lobo, a municipality with two stoplights. And now, according to the chief of police, it has one too many Texas Rangers. Rio Lobo Detective Ariana Delgado is the one who requested Rory and the only person who believes a local councilwoman's seemingly accidental death is a murder. Then, Rory begins to uncover a tangle of small-town secrets.

Entertaining and Exciting
Revisado: 07-08-21
I really enjoyed both of the Texas Ranger books. The interaction with his father was really great. His father’s sayings were things my dad would say to me. Really hit home.
