Not my favorite

For those of us in an urban setting this life seems very strange. I thought there would be some entertaining stories or heartfelt tales but none to be had here. Having 8 children by accident is not really what I want to hear from a strong woman in modern times. She says she never planned on having one! Husband seems like a total ass! She is in a dangerous situation on highway and he is yelling at her?!? I would skip this.

What did you love best about The Boston Girl: A Novel?
Linda Lavin did a wonderful job with the story. This book was made for her! I really enjoyed the story and all of the characters. Fun to hear about Rockport at turn of the century.

Definitely worth listening to it is a short and easy story to get through!
