Historia
A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible. In a flash, every human-erected construction on Earth - from Buckingham Palace to the tiniest of sheds - collapses in a heap, sinking into the ground. The buildings and all the people inside have all been atomized and transformed into the dungeon: an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot.

The audiobook to ruin all other audiobooks
Revisado: 04-28-24
Ever since I listened to this book and all the subsequent DCC’s, it’s really hard to find a book to top it, it’s actually really hard to find a book that can even live up to the same experience. DCC is easily the best audiobook I’ve ever listened to. There are some people who do not like it because of the lit RPG style, but before this book, I’ve never listened to any LIT-RPG and I found it to be fantastic. The narrator is probably what makes this book my #1. This is definitely on par with science fiction type books, mixed with comedy. If that’s what you’re looking for then spend the credit because it’s worth it.

Very close to bobiverse
Revisado: 02-13-23
I’ve been looking for something similar to bobiverse and no one has ever recommended this book. It’s so similar! I found it because it was an audible plus catalog book and I’m so happy I did! Love this book! Very similar theme about an android inhabiting other worlds and meeting aliens etc

Historia
The folks in Mike Erikson's small New England town would say he's just your average, everyday guy. And that's exactly how Mike likes it. Sure, the life he's chosen isn't much of a challenge to someone with his unique gifts, but he's content with his quiet and peaceful existence. That is, until an old friend presents him with an irresistible mystery, one that Mike is uniquely qualified to solve.

I really liked this story at first. Provides a bit of suspense, but I think I was disappointed with the outcome. I was expecting something a little different maybe, not the route it took. But I would still suggest this book to anyone who liked “14” or “project Hail Mary”

Historia
Fat Joe is a hip-hop legend, but this is not a tale of celebrity; it is the story of Joseph Cartagena, a kid who came of age in the South Bronx during its darkest years of drugs, violence, and abandonment, and how he navigated that traumatizing landscape until he found—through art, friendship, luck, and will—a rocky path to a different life. This memoir, written in Joe’s own intensely compelling voice, moves with the momentum of pulp fiction, but underneath the tragicomedy and riveting tales of the streets and the industry is a thought-provoking story about a generation of survivors.

I really appreciated this book and I loved it was narrated by Fat joe himself. It was a nice walk down memory lane in regards to the music industry throughout the past 30 years.
I recommend this book to anyone who feels like they come from the streets, anyone who love music, or anyone who just loves a good overall biography

Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

A Lugo Review
Revisado: 09-01-22
This is probably the best book I’ve ever listened too. I’m constantly trying to find a new podcast or audiobook, because I listen to them while working. It seems I’m not able to find many that I like, but I saw this one recommended a lot & decided to try it, and I am glad I did. There is a lot of suspense and adventure. The prospect of meeting new things and situations leaves you on the edge of your seat. This is a book I would definitely recommend to somebody who isn’t sure of what they like but is looking for some thing new. The narrator is fantastic and does a great job of different voices especially for the other main character. A MUST READ!

Historia
When she stumbles across the ad, she’s looking for something else completely. But it seems like too good an opportunity to miss - a live-in nannying post, with a staggeringly generous salary. And when Rowan Caine arrives at Heatherbrae House, she is smitten - by the luxurious “smart” home fitted out with all modern conveniences, by the beautiful Scottish Highlands, and by this picture-perfect family. What she doesn’t know is that she’s stepping into a nightmare - one that will end with a child dead and herself in prison awaiting trial for murder.

Lugo’s Review

Books I love: Will by Will Smith, GreenLights by Matthew Mcconaughey, Terminal List, Harry Potter
Podcasts I LOVE: Timesuck, court Junkie, many crime podcasts and some Realm podcasts.
Review on This Book: I saw this as a recommendation online from a couple people so I tried it. It was a bit slow to get into and I don’t prefer the narrator but it wasn’t terrible. In the beginning, it was slow and I had to turn it to something else a few times. During the middle, I was able to get into it more. It leads you in without allowing you to know the plot, but the suspense doesn’t keep you entertained enough. The ending was kind of a let down, and it leads you on because it doesn’t really give you a full ending. Meaning it tells you what you’ve been waiting to find out, but still leaves it unfinished in a way because you don’t know what came of it.
I wouldn’t recommend. It just doesn’t provide the things I’m looking for and it’s not suspenseful enough. The let down at the end leaves much to be desired. If it was a bigger plot at the end, and maybe didn’t take so long to get too, it would’ve been much better.

Historia
There are some odd things about Nate’s new apartment. Of course, he has other things on his mind. He hates his job. He has no money in the bank. No girlfriend. No plans for the future. So while his new home isn’t perfect, it’s livable. The rent is low, the property managers are friendly, and the odd little mysteries don’t nag at him too much. At least, not until he meets Mandy, his neighbor across the hall, and notices something unusual about her apartment. And Xela’s apartment. And Tim’s. And Veek’s.

Decent read
Revisado: 07-25-22
I’ve been trying to find an audiobook for some time. This book popped up on my radar several times because of the narrator. I agree with the sentiment I heard from others, the narrator is FANTASTIC. This is decent on allowing the characters to be separate and painted great pictures when reading. I really wanted to continue in this book, however the ending was not expected and left a lot to be desired. Overall, getting to the ending was worth it. This is a good read for anyone looking for something new
