Bringing Black Ice full circle
Revisado: 05-08-23
I’m going to get the negative out of the way by saying please stop using this narrator for the book! The audio in part four and part three were very pitchy, a lot of highs and lows, making it hard to hear over the background music or sound effects. It took away from the enjoyment of the story. Now the good part Dash this installment truly brought home a better understanding of the villain of this book series. I will not disclose spoiler alerts but it all makes sense well raising additional questions. As bad as I want to get off of the Shameek Speight train of this series, I must admit that I am hooked and have already listened to the first installment of the Daughter of Black Ice. This series is so complex and layered. Will Black Ice ever die?

He watched as she screamed and yelled with every strike that the man made to her face. From her mouth, she spit blood that was rolling down her face. He continued to watch the man repeatedly hit and kick the woman in the stomach, again and again."Noooo stop! Please stop!" as she yelled his closed fist went upside her head. Michael knew he had to do something to stop the man from beating the beautiful woman.

Modern Day Hood Horror story
Revisado: 05-08-23
The title of this book intrigued me just to see what it was really going to be about. The writer brought each character to life vividly and boldly. Just before warned that the entire series is very graphic and explicit, definitely not for the faint of heart or ears. It would leave you asking questions to understand Black Ice and what will happen next. There are a lot of twists and turns it leaves you wanting more. The narrator did a great job delivering the audio.

Gripping Story
Revisado: 05-08-23
The events of this story left you watering at the mouth for what’s going to happen next. The narrator brought the book to life! He has the same narrator from the first installment of the series. you see the dichotomy between father and son.

Gripping Story- poor audio
Revisado: 05-08-23
The storyline continues and leaves you sitting on the edge of your seat to find out what is going to happen next. The explicit nature of this book leaves the listener with a clear visualization of every event taking place. Unfortunately, the narration for this book is less than desirable that impacts the overall audiobook.

Tiffany can't avoid being funny: it's just who she is. But The Last Black Unicorn is so much more than a side-splittingly hilarious collection of essays - it's a memoir of the struggles of one woman who came from nothing and nowhere. A woman who was able to achieve her dreams by reveling in her pain and awkwardness, showing the world who she really is, and inspiring others through the power of laughter.

Revisado: 09-30-17
Miss Pat story had me hooked at the first chapter. I could not put the book down! As an educator her words, shared by her elementary teacher, sticks with me "you can be anything...just dream". A great book to pass onto young ladies who think know one understands the struggle. Miss Pat aka Rabbit has GRIT.
