I really enjoyed the “he falls first” aspect. BUT his use of “honey” as an endearment made me feel like the author didn’t put too much thought into how it would sound. I personally would’ve liked a more sensual word. Instead, I kept feeling like he was chastising her.

Rough & Spicy

This was a nice and spicy book, with a few frustrating moments for the characters. I enjoyed the heat between the two characters and I would definitely listen to it again!

Voices can make or break

Storyline is good but I am distracted by the smarmy way both male & female voices come across. Hers isn’t near as bad, but I’m having a hard time believing the male actor is the character and not some sleazy bad guy. It’s not bad enough that I don’t have any to listen to Book 2 though

Story is ok but male narrator is yikes

I don’t bash so the quick & honest of it is the story is light reading and easy BUT I KNOW the male narrator wasn’t using his normal voice and it was cringy. Wish he had just narrated it normally and the story would have been fun & good. Female narrator did well, so at least there’s that!

Liked it…but

Story was good, but the female voice role made it slightly off for me. Male voice role was sexy & natural, while her’s seemed forced and just weird. I couldn’t imagine anyone talking like that and so her character seemed unbelievable. Book was a good one though! Enjoyed the story line

When I Google searched “most erotic books on Audible”, I was NOT ready for this one. To say I loved this one would be an understatement. Loved the men, loved “Chella” (helped that my middle name is Marcella!) and was kinda jealous of Rochelle. Needless to say, I’m moving to the next in the series and really looking forward/anxious to see what’s in store!!

Arghhhh…again…

I’ve read several of this author’s books, and enjoy them for the most part. This one, though, had me blurting out curse words to the female character. I’ve determined that while I do like the passion & eventual happy ending of her books, I do NOT like that her characters seem so deeply broken to the point that they self-sabotage relationships. It just seems as if the author is trying to say that the brokenness in these characters is more the norm and not the exception.
