Even a 40 year sales pro can learn

Clean and simple, basically the premise of the title right? Let's get straight to it, not monkey around. It was a quick listen (2x's speed was perfect) and a few good takeaways. Better than average book, well worth the time.

Wonderful perspective on the evolution of politics

I'm not sure if it is evolution or revolution, because you will learn an awful lot of how history does repeat itself. Jonah does a great job of being objective. Regardless of what side of the political spectrum you are on, you will come away with both knowledge, and a new appreciation for the other sides argument.

We have all had experiences with people that prove that those with the highest IQs are not always the most successful. What could these very smart people be missing? Chances are it's emotional intelligence (EQ) - the ability to perceive, understand, and manage emotions in ourselves and others. Sounds very powerful, doesn't it? Could we really manage our own emotions, as opposed to having our emotions run the show? Could we really effect change in the emotions of our coworkers or family members?

No, because this is definitely too much for audio in my opinion. I didn't finish the book, and overall quality is good, but I need to be highlighting and taking notes.

Yes, anything by Seth Godin is "golden". His story telling ability and cognitive skills are fantastic. His analogies and examples really drive the points in simple terms. Makes you say hmmm quite a bit.

I should have read this when it was published. It might have been state of the art then. 2017 is to late to be getting this book. Most, if not all, references are very old and dated. Could use a refresh ...
