Would you listen to All Creatures Great and Small again? Why?

Absolutely. Herriot is an engaging writer. He effectively laces in and out of his veterinarian practice and his experiences in the human world. His reflection on a bygone era from a standpoint of later years adds maturity and weight to his descriptions. I can't get enough of his work.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Siegfried is such a delightfully blustery character. On the one hand he is inexpressibly charming and helpful, while on the other terribly frustrating and contradictory, but always good-natured.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. I drive for a living and found this an easy listen for long sittings. Though, the story is easily broken up for shorter sittings.

Is there anything you would change about this book?

This is a collection of podcasts. I found the back and forth banter of the two hosts valuable for some cultural background and distinctions between the various Spanish dialects but as for being a tool to learn the language this was less than helpful. However, it only cost five dollars. I reccomend Pimsleur.

Would you be willing to try another book from Innovative Language Learning? Why or why not?

No. Did not meet my expectations the first time.
