I’ve tried to learn Italian before, but nothing ever stuck—until I found this book. Learn Italian Like Crazy for Beginners makes it feel easy and fun. I can now talk with my friends confidently. It feels like discovering something awesome.

There are lots of programs on the market masquerading as "advanced Spanish programs." After completing them, you'll find that your ability to speak conversational Spanish has improved very little, if at all, and that you're still stuck on the same plateau. If you're on an advanced-level - or even if you're on an intermediate level seeking to breakthrough to an advanced level - you have special Spanish needs, such as improving your Spanish pronunciation and Latin American Spanish accent.

Necessary tool to achieve fluency

Level 3 is a great continuation from Level 2 in this series. Level 2 focused more on the Present
Subjunctive. After I completed Level 2, I felt confident using the Present Subjunctive and
forming sentences such as:
Me sorprende que me llames todos los días.
I am surprised that you call me every day.
Te pido que llames todos los días.
I ask you to call me every day.
But with Level 3, I mastered the present perfect subjunctive and now feel quite comfortable
forming sentences with the present perfect subjunctive such as:
Me sorprende que me hayas llamado.
It surprises me that you have called me.
In addition to learning the present perfect subjunctive with Level 3, I also learned the imperfect
subjunctive and, on a fly, I can now confidently form sentences such as
Te pedí que no me llamaras todos los días.
I asked you not to call me every day.
But the advanced-level topic I enjoyed learning the most in Level 3 is How To Form Indirect
Commands. Indirect commands are really just commands that are given by a third party. In
English, that's like saying “have someone do something” or “let someone do something.” Having
studied advanced Spanish with this audiobook, I can now confidently form indirect commands
by using “que” and the “subjunctive” form of verbs. Here's an example:
Que entre él.
Let him enter/Have him enter.
Que me llame ella.
Have her call me/Let her call me.
Another great thing about Level 3 is the advanced vocabulary. Instead of learning basic
vocabulary I can use "at the hotel" or "at the restaurant", I learned more advanced vocabulary
for "at the gym". Spanish vocabulary for words such as:
- Locker
- Combination lock
- Combination (lock's combination)
- Locker room
- To put away (as to put something away in my gym locker)
The course also provides free access to the author’s weekly Spanish conversation club which is
taught by a native Spanish speaker from Colombia. I attended several of their online weekly
conversation clubs and found them to be a tremendous complement to the audio lessons.
As with all of Patrick Jackson's audiobooks, he only employs native Spanish speakers to help
you develop a proper Spanish accent and pronunciation. If you're an advanced-level or
intermediate-level student hoping to achieve complete fluency in Spanish, then this audiobook is
a must-have for your library.

great guide for retirement planning!

I particularly appreciated the tax planning and estate building chapters, which gave me tips and information that I could apply later on. It explains concepts and is easy to follow, and I didn't feel confused as I have with other books on similar topics. In addition to the financial aspects, the book also covers legal considerations, which is often a topic left out in other retirement guides. It was a pleasant surprise to see it included, as it made me realize how important it is to plan for the legal side of retirement as well.
