MC has gotten into fights with almost every aristocrat he runs into and it seems like there never a conclusion to anything. More and more characters are introduced and the old just seem to disappear except for a brief mention.

There was nothing in this book to bring me back. I’ve read or listened to the first 3 a dozen times. I go back and listen to specific parts that are just amazing all the time. This book had none of that. The Wesson scenes at the academy were just bad. It makes him seem like an idiot unable to make anyone believe him. Use a mage oath and get it over with. Just annoying.

I can’t wait for this series to grow. I’ve read every chapter available and didn’t think I would come back to it after just finishing but Travis Baldree made it even better. I can’t recommend it enough.
