Historia
Malcolm Muggeridge contends that Christendom is quite different from Christianity. Christ said, "My kingdom is very much a part of this world, and thus subject to decay and eventual ruin." In this book, Muggeridge explores the prevailing downfall of Christendom. However, contrary to our natural impulse to mourn this, Muggeridge makes a cogent and convincing argument that now is a time to rejoice.

Historia
Man’s Search for Meaning is the chilling yet inspirational story of Viktor Frankl’s struggle to hold on to hope during the unspeakable horrors of his years as a prisoner in Nazi concentration camps. Between 1942 and 1945 Frankl labored in four different camps, including Auschwitz, while his parents, brother, and pregnant wife perished. Based on his own experience and the experiences of those he treated in his practice, Frankl argues that we cannot avoid suffering, but we can choose how to cope with it, find meaning in it, and move forward with renewed purpose.

Any additional comments?
This is the first time I have been able to get a glimpse of what it was like for those unfortunate people who were segregated out by their own community and systematically dehumanized. It was truly eye opening especially because of Frankl's vocation as a psychiatrist. He bought analytical insight into his own suffering.
