the books pace.
Revisado: 11-25-24
I think these books are to short. they really need to make 2 book bundles to make it worth the credit. other than that I enjoyed the story and the authors ability to seamlessly keep the book moving. he could've expounded on topics to make these books longer and give them more flesh in my opinion. the only thing I didnt really enjoy was how fast he was able to introduce some technologies. from chemistry to engineering he didn't seem to have very many road blocks in his way.

Historia
After facing war, death, unruly gods, and unmitigated evil, Minalan the Spellmonger is forced to return to Farise, the site of his earliest battles, with the simple assignment to conquer the subtropical city-state and expel the pirates that plague the kingdom’s shipping. Tired of warfare, Minalan embarks on a clandestine campaign to do so, assuming an alias and setting up shop in Farise as a mere Practical Adept as cover for his operation. Recruiting a cadre of talented agents to assist, he reluctantly begins the task of infiltrating and observing Farisian society.

i wasnt sure about the writing style when i started this series but soon became engaged by the story. my only complaint is that one of the books is missing from the series and is supposed to be a pivotal book.

underestimating
Revisado: 12-02-23
i was afraid this series was going to turn down a young adults path. Midway through the third book in the series i had to stop and give my appreciation for the excellent quality of these books which feels like more of a glimpse into a horrifying future for humanity than a simple sci fi book. excellent work and i can't wait to see where it goes.

the tale of the greedy author
Revisado: 06-25-23
i liked this author in the beginning but both the good and bad guy series have stalled into side stories. it would be fine if the books were longer and had actual progression but as it is im one more book like this from dropping this author completely.

Unbeknownst to him, Ray is about to partake on an adventure filled with magical beasts, warring factions, and a leveling-up system out of this world. He'll encounter filthy bandits, musty crypts, and friendly werewolves. Oh, you heard us right. just not good
Revisado: 03-02-23
the story has potential but it feels like no one read the book before releasing it. ilume decided to walk into the room. the room was dark but ilume wasnt afraid. it reminded ilume of Tolkien. ilume liked the tolkien books, it was like if the rock and Tolkien had a baby and named it ilume. ilume chuckles to himself. the narrators voice was good but read in a weird way. ilume found this pleasing. my only other comment is that the character didnt do anything not presented to him by the npcs. you need ilume to save that cat from a tree? ilume will do this for you!

overly simplistic
Revisado: 02-20-23
i couldn't finish the first book. it felt like there was no point to the story. the world "system" does just about everything for the characters and they treat him like a genius when he blunders through "farming" and is constantly bailed out of trouble. the main reason i tried this book was because im tired of constant fight scenes and lack of story but it felt like the local dungeon played a larger role in the book than the farm. its sad when the character is best known for his cooking which involves telling a book to cook something... the narration was good although the narrator would take weird pauses before the last word in a sentence.

Historia
Accidentally murdered by a cleric in another universe during a botched resurrection, Arnold, a semi-pro gamer, wakes upon an altar to find himself incarnated into the overweight body of a farmer who could have been his fatter twin. He’s not the hero. He’s not the villain. He’s certainly not the chosen one who is there to save the world. He’s a clerical error. It could be a bad joke, but apparently, it happens so often that they have a standard procedure for returning you.

from the genuine comedy to the depth of emotion gripping the characters i have thoroughly enjoyed this series. i applaud the originality of the author, the way the story kept moving through time seemingly effortlessly and the way combat was kept interesting without dominating the book.
