Historia
A girl makes a secret sacrifice to the faerie king in this lush New York Times best-selling fantasy by author Holly Black. In the woods is a glass coffin. It rests on the ground, and in it sleeps a boy with horns on his head and ears as pointed as knives...Hazel and her brother, Ben, live in Fairfold, where humans and the Folk exist side by side. Since they were children, Hazel and Ben have been telling each other stories about the boy in the glass coffin, that he is a prince and they are valiant knights, pretending their prince would be different from the other faeries.

An experience unfolding from start to end. Lovely!
Revisado: 01-22-18
Love how it keeps you and main character believable unknowing and guessing! No one guesses the unknowing like a divine plot twist. They keep guessing as if they have no clue... and the story sweeps you away and leave you wanting for more :)
Great narrater as well. I loved the tone of the story, and the narrater brought it to live just perfectly!

(Still) Great story and narrator performance

A little less keen on some of the stuttering (Sam + more) and "hmmmm"-ing (Hailin pyromancr) carector voices , but none the less a fantastic story!

Historia
Winter is coming. Such is the stern motto of House Stark, the northernmost of the fiefdoms that owe allegiance to King Robert Baratheon in far-off King's Landing. There Eddard Stark of Winterfell rules in Robert's name. Far to the north, behind the towering Wall, lie savage Wildings and worse - unnatural things relegated to myth during the centuries-long summer, but proving all too real and all too deadly in the turning of the season. Yet a more immediate threat lurks to the south, where Jon Arryn, the Hand of the King, has died under mysterious circumstances....

Stunning narrating makes the epic story come alive
Revisado: 12-15-16
Stunning narrating by Roy Dotrice! He makes the epic story come alive as vividly as the series.. even more so! I can sense the caracters so much better with their thoughts from the story, and the different personalty in the voices Roy perform. Awesome listen! :)

Maybe not for me age
Revisado: 03-31-15
I think I may be a bit to old for the target group of this story. Or just never were your typicaæ teenage, so I couldn't realy relate to anyone in the story. Still the fantasy-part of this urban-fantasy world had some interesting concepts... though I would probably be more amazed (but off course also freaked out) at getting a tail all of a sudden, not grossed out. Overall I was obiously entertained and curious for the ending, but alot of the (steriotype?) caracters and teen-like acting (and voice acting) felt like a struggle the get trough... again, probably not ment for my age group ;)

Historia
In the year 2045, reality is an ugly place. The only time Wade Watts really feels alive is when he’s jacked into the OASIS, a vast virtual world where most of humanity spends their days. When the eccentric creator of the OASIS dies, he leaves behind a series of fiendish puzzles, based on his obsession with the pop culture of decades past. Whoever is first to solve them will inherit his vast fortune—and control of the OASIS itself.

Nerdy and lovely
Revisado: 03-23-15
A captivating tribute to nerdynes. A pageturner invading even my sleep and dreams. I hav'nt been able to put it down after passing the intro. It is both dystopian but also somewhat of a gamer/nerd utopia. I'd love to visit the Oasis. I could have been without lying awake at night, hunted by the need to solve the pussles, or hacking computers. I was almost right about the first key though.

Loved it. The uncertainness is stunning.
Revisado: 02-28-15
Loved it. That feeling of being into real deep waters, to throw yourself into the unknown and never know what is to come is really often present. Just when you think its all safe, the story takes another turn. Its a page turner.
