Never having read or listened to LitRPG (which I had to look up the meaning), I wanted to experience work out of my normal contemporary romance. I was not disappointed. The characters, world building, wit, storyline, details were all wonderfully incredible and enjoyable. Looking forward to book two!

I 'cut my teeth' on Nora Roberts, instantly falling in love with her writing and the romance genre. But she brings so much more than just romance. Her stories are compelling, riveting, emotional, and fantastical. I found myself so caught up in the action and suspense, in the love and tenderness that I often found myself smiling with joy or gritting my teeth in anger; it's that engrossing. This story was superb and I'm eager to listen to the next two books in the series. The narrator, Julie did an amazing job, considering the many characters who had a voice. Would gladly listen to more of Julia's work as well.

Loved this story that continued to get better and better with each chapter. Funny, lively, SEXY. The vulnerability and growth of the characters was beautiful and emotional. Enjoyed hearing the ethnicity and culture of the Santos family come to life. While I enjoyed Wayne's narration of Max, my only critique is his rendition of his brother, Andrew, and any female part just didn't come across well for my ears. Overall, fantastic story.
