Disappointed
Revisado: 07-26-21
I’ve read ever one of Elin’s books and never have been disappointed. This is a first. She is amazing in character development. There was no time to develop these characters. The interaction with Link and Bess was for no purpose. I thought it would go somewhere but it didn’t. There really wasn’t a storyline it just gave some history of past characters in her book. I felt the book just abruptly ended and I never got a story.

Couldn’t get through the first 2 Chapters.

I love all Denise Swansons books. The narrator read this book so fast and didn’t pause that I had no idea who was saying what. It was so annoying I had to stop listening.

Great ending.

I enjoyed all 3 books. I’m not sure why the negative reviews. It seems as though they hadn’t read all 3 books. I didn’t feel like there were too many characters. The story wrapped up nicely. Can’t wait for the next EH book.

Historia
Caroline Murphy swore she'd never set foot back in the small Southern town of Peachtree Bluff; she was a New York girl born and bred and the worst day of her life was when, in the wake of her father's death, her mother selfishly forced her to move - during her senior year of high school, no less - back to that hick-infested rat trap where she'd spent her childhood summers.

Predictable and Boring
Revisado: 09-22-18
Boring book. The characters were a bunch of woman whining. Not much of a story.

Historia
Anna Fox lives alone - a recluse in her New York City home, unable to venture outside. She spends her day drinking wine (maybe too much), watching old movies, recalling happier times...and spying on her neighbors. Then the Russells move into the house across the way: a father, mother, their teenaged son. The perfect family. But when Anna, gazing out her window one night, sees something she shouldn't, her world begins to crumble. And its shocking secrets are laid bare.

Overly descriptive!
Revisado: 05-21-18
I couldn’t wait for this book to get going or be over. It was so drawn out and wordy. I would of quit listening if it weren’t my last book before my credits renew. I did not like the narration as well. It was also very slow. There really wasn’t much of a story. What was there could of been told in a quarter of the time. Very disappointing. I have to wonder about some of the rave reviews.
