I’d say this story thrives from the vocal performance. Though there are times where I zoned out. Mostly my own fault. But Heath is just so dang consistently good with his voices. Def worth a credit.

A fun and tasteful romp

Emily brings Rachel’s tale to full life with a set of unique voices for every character. The story is intriguing enough on its own, though returning fans of the universe may enjoy it even more. I found myself sucked into the story and performance. Consider giving it a shot if you’re on the fence.

An enjoyable romp

I’ll be honest, at first I thought this was going to be a little light on depth. But after listening to the entire story, I had to set back a couple of times to recover from the nice character development and occasional twists. Pavi has a very nice vocal range and each character is immediately identifiable. These two make for a killer combo. If you like litRPG or anything adjacent, check out this series/continue it with this sequel. It’s quite enjoyable.

Jeff Lindsay is too good

Andy Serkis nails it

Andy breathes life into every character, every line. He makes each character sound similar to the original actor if it’s in his vocal range. Definitely worth a listen.

Jaw dropping story and performance

I’m certain this book reads well, but it shines as an audiobook. The narrator breathes life into the author’s rich story. I found myself overcome with emotion at times due to the realness of the characters and the narrator’s defy performance.

Fantasy/rpg lovers beware

This book starts slowly. As in, 0 miles per hour.

Except it quickly jumps to 10 mph, then 20, 30, and so on.

The world building is done in a mostly natural way that makes total sense.

And the concepts are totally unique and provide a twist to both genres.

The voice acting is pretty solid. Unique, consistent voices.

The pacing, pretty good.

The story itself... well, there’s plenty to leave you rooting for these plucky NPC’s.

Definitely worth a credit or on sale pick up for anybody. Absolutely worth it for lovers of genre benders.

This book amazingly juggles satire with a diverse cast and interesting story. Also, Doug Tisdale Jr is now my favorite performer. His voices are incredible. Following both of these guys because of how amazing this story is and was performed.
