Definitely not a Wallbanger...

Basically this book is about a 30-something wannabe actress who lives with her friend. She meets a young sexy 'British' actor and the two of them go on a jaunty sexual escapade which involves no ACTUAL sex for a long time.
The narrator uses the same voice for all of the characters, doesn't even ATTEMPT a British accent for the character who is shoved down our throats as being sexy simply for the fact that he IS BRITISH.
I enjoyed it enough at first to get into it, decided to finish it, and then WHAM it was over. I actually checked my library for the next part, as I was extremely confused about how it could end so abruptly. There was no wrap up, no finish, no nothing. Just cut off. Very bizarre.
I see now that there is a 2nd book coming, which I assume will wrap this up.
Basically, I wouldn't waste a credit on this. It's uncomfortable, horrible narration, and a poorly unsatisfying ending.
Stick with Wallbanger. It's a great read.

The BEST!

Hands down the BEST Audiobook and BEST narrator I have heard all year... maybe EVER. I highly recommend this, worth not only a credit, I would have paid full price! Can't wait to hear another by this author.

I made the mistake of downloading the first 2 books in this series at the same time, rather than listening to the 1st one and then NOT getting the second one. I got about 3/4 of the way through the first one, and had to stop. So then I tried the second one thinking it would be different-- it's not. I like a little steamy romance too, but sheesh this is practically porn. Plus there is ZERO storyline. She meets the guy and is all of a sudden trembling with need. Puhh-leeease.

Honestly, I just couldn't get into this book. I started it and got about 1 1/2 hours into it and just had to quit. The leading man was SUCH a jerk, I just couldn't bear to let her fall in love with him. The author made the woman out to be a frumpy loser, and the man to be an uptight jerk. It just had no appeal to me.

If I could have given this 0 stars, I would have. It is absolutely appalling. The reader has a lisp, and it's the worst story I've ever read, hands down.

It was okay...except for this "Cat" character. I mean, what the heck? Who acts like that? I think that part ruined it for me. I did "lol" a couple of times though... it kept me entertained.
Narration was pretty good too.

This was a pretty good book... I would probably read others by this author, but it wasn't fantastic. Don't expect to gain anything from it, it's just a brainless read...which isn't always a bad thing!
The narrator was PERFECT for the story though.

Couldn't finish this one. I got about 3/4 of the way through it and just couldn't bear it. The language is strange and unrealistic. People don't actually say things like "I quite enjoyed that" after they have sex. It seemed odd.
