Great series, but Terrible narrator

This third installment to the series was a riving tale, but unlike the narrator of the 1st two books; this one was AWEFUL. She read every sentence as if it was a question. Her cadence was off & sometimes she seemed unsure of what to say next, which is crazy because she was reading a script!! Her narration was so horrible it was distracting. If I didn't like this series so much I would have discontinued with this book because the narrator was just that bad.

I really enjoy audiobooks because they are easy and convenient to listen to my favorite books on the go!
What did you like best about this story?
I suppose I am a glutton for punishment because I loved the back and forth between Joe and Vi and Mike! I even loved the cute nicknames Vi's kids had for her. Mamalicious...too sweet...
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrator was ABSOLUTELY AWFUL! She swallowed VERY LOUDLY throughout the ENTIRE book. I couldn't take it anymore. I even skipped around and tried adjusting the volume so it wouldn't be so OBVIOUS, NOTHING HELPED! Maybe it was the recording. I know that narrating a book isn't as simple as it seems, but the CONSTANT LOUD swallowing, (and at one time I swear it seemed as if she was chewing gum) Was EXTREMELY distracting and down right ANNOYING. I will NOT purchase a book with this particular narrator ever again! I should have listened to the other reviews about her. Something needs to be adjusted for her if she's going to keep narrating. Also some of the voices she used that were supposed to be for men was the same voice she used for certain female characters. I won't listen to her again she's too annoying. At the beginning almost EVERY sentence she read had you waiting for her to finish swallowing to say the next word. Did I say this was ANNOYING?!

This book made me Laugh out Loud consistently! I cried with Violet when her brother was murdered. It was such a good story!

Ditch the narrator, she ruins the book with all her extra saliva and constant swallowing. I know that every narrator has to swallow, but I have NEVER heard anyone do this as loudly and annoying as this one. It was ridiculous.
