It's a good book but the reading

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
It's a good book, offering lots of info. I did not like the reading though. It was rushed through, the reader did not understand the text, nor tried to make you understand, was very monoton, kind of emphasizing the words too much, it was very distracting. I couldn't even finish the book. I just could not pay attention to what she was saying. I guess I need the printed copy if I want to use the good info the writer was writing about.
How could the performance have been better?
slow down a little bit and try to talk instead of rushing it through.

Good Concept, Hard To Make It A Habit AWFUL readin

Would you try another book from Marshall Rosenberg and/or Marshall Rosenberg?
The book itself has a great concept. It is hard to make it an everyday habit though especially if everyone else around you doesn't do the same. You practice for a while then it gets forgotten because nobody around you does the same and you just go back to your own ways.
What didn’t you like about Marshall Rosenberg’s performance?
He should have picked some professional reader. It was so slow, that I almost fell asleep listening (I had to speed it up for 1.5x the speed to make it normal) and it was very "wet", you hear every breath, swallow, mouth noise in the reading. Something that I don't want to hear loud in my ears. For this reason, I don't recommend this audio book to anyone, I would advise to read the book itself. It's a good book.
