Great Premise

I love a good romance inspired fantasy novel, but similar to other reviewers, there were some plot details that really needed to be fleshed out to make me believe in the characters. The world and lore premise are fantastic and I love the dynamics of the characters, and will keep reading for the pleasure of learning more about the world.

I wanted the main male character to be more dominant and brooding to the public so I could believe in his reputation, even if he really is a softie. And I wanted more tension between the lovers. Hoping book 2 delivers.

Moving, Dirty, Wholesome

This book manages to be incredibly sexy and wholesome at the same time. I was moved by the love story, turned on by the sex, and invested in the characters. A++

Side note, I am a pagan through and through and was impressed with the spirituality touched on in this story, it was beautiful.

Quirky and Delightful

I really loved the style and whimsy of this little story. The characters were endearing and terrible and I smiled throughout the entire thing. Lovely for a quick palate cleanse between longer stories and series.

Would you consider the audio edition of The Land: Founding: A LitRPG Saga to be better than the print version?

Nick does a great job and expresses the characters well. The print version helps with the stat blocks as some of them on audio tend to get repetitious. (still worth it though)

What other book might you compare The Land: Founding: A LitRPG Saga to and why?

LitRPG is a whole new beast for me. Ready Player One and Sword Art Online are comparable. Maybe even a ./Sign
Sucked into a VR world and the game becomes your reality.

What about Nick Podehl’s performance did you like?

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Definitely laughed out loud several times, probably laughed out loud more with audio version more than printed... sound FX... ya know?

7th book in print is supposed to be out soon and only 5 books on audible at that time I'm writing this... I could see the series going on for quite some time. However books seem to be coming pretty quick about 1 a year or more.

Tim Gerard Reynolds is the best!

I loved the in-depth story telling of the book and am extremely attached to the characters because of this. Can't wait till the next book.

However, as always Mr. Reynolds is what truly drew me the book and kept me enthralled through out. He is amazing and consistant. I love it.

Loved It!!

I loved this story! It was interesting, different, captured my imagination. The story teller was very fun to listen too and did a great job with his voice for all the fascinating characters. My only regret is that this is the first book in the series and it was released very recently. I rarely pick up new book series because I hate waiting. Le sigh.
