Great dialogue. Good story. Enough tension to keep you involved and wanting more. Both narrators gave true personalities to the characters.

Super cute and female empowerment

Good storyline following Ash as she deals with her South Asian immigrant parents’ desire to hold on to old superstitions and misogyny in this modern world. Her much younger brother’s athletic career and needs take precedent over everything else. Ash struggles with how she can have her own life, love and even career with all of the pressure to help her brother. Oh. And she falls in love with an NHL star to add to the stress.

Fiona Davis handles back and forth in time periods and characters very well. The stories of each time and each woman stands alone and are worthy of their own stories. When they are intermingled and you see how the past influences the present and future, it reminds us that is true in real life as well.

Just WOW

This podcast takes interviews from the late, great Steve Sabol and shared them in an unfiltered format. Andrea Kremer does a great job of giving context especially when they refer to a current event (current at time of the interview) and the listener may not be able to recall or know the context.

She says in the intro to think of this as a time capsule. And wow is it!! You hear from players and coaches about the NFL but also about the specific time period’s society, culture, but also plans and wishes for the future. And listening to these time capsule in hind sight gives great perspective!

Can’t get enough

Mike Rowe grabbed my attention on “Dirty Jobs”. Now you can hear him in on this podcast in some short segments (very similar to Paul Harvey’s “The Rest of the Story” ❤️) and longer ones. I just listened to episode 304 about The Phoenix, a recovery program, that left me so uplifted.

Each story is great and thought provoking in some way . And his voice!

I highly recommend.

Another Kylie hit!

This book is great. It does a good job of continuing the story yet is different. Many times series get boring.

Transgender is not a political issue as some have stated and Kylie handles it with grace.

I like the small cameo of Mal and Jimmy. Wish we could have seen more of Stage Dive characters and also more of Lydia and Vaughn.

I definitely recommend

My favorite of the series

This series is awesome. Light, fun with just enough drama to keep it interesting. Tessa and Sebastian are my favorite for sure! All the books and couples have been good but this has been the most interesting. I love that each is a little "broken" yet find strength through each other.

Julian's character seems to be building up to something. Another book maybe??

What happened?

I really enjoyed the Nocturne Falls romance series. It moved quickly, had multiple plot lines and was light enough to not add to my stress.

This book was sllooww. I didn't hate it but I'm thankful it was a daily deal. I won't be reading /listening more in the series.

You knew this relationship was going to happen. This novella is cute and plays out their getting together.

No drama. No plot twist. Just a sweet quick story.
