I really like the tips and exercises. I got this to prepare for my first real conference presentation in london and from the first few pages, I could tell that Irish Dave is FUNNY (hope I can pick up his accent to sound more like a London too!). He gives plenty of tips and ideas on how to add humour and simple exercises to get you started thinking soon. I'm weird so maybe it's just me but the one thing this was lacking was how to organize PowerPoint slides. I don't know what I'm doing really but the slide theme I chose is one I like. The memory palace was also a bit unclear. Is this to help memorize your script? Or just the key points? Should I put one sentence in each location? Or a whole paragraph of script? Or only the jokes I'm gonna use for my talk?

Overall, it was exactly what I was looking for since I'm doing an academic talk. I haven't had a chance to test out any of my jokes yet, so if I bomb I may need to change my rating...but as of now it's a great audiobook! Thanks Dave!

The content seems good and I noticed some of the tactics in social interaction between myself and my friends. As a book, I think it would be great since you can easily flip around to recap the pointers but for an audiobook, it def needs chapter summaries to help remember. Definitely gonna need a lot of practice, which is gonna require lots of daily socializing...which isn't what the book focused on. Also, I agree with the other review that the narrator intonation and delivery could've been better and more extreme, like the book talks about. I still wanna review it. but think it'd be better in book form. Also, I felt like he switched up the examples way too often rather than sticking with the same one to clearly see the difference between techniques
