seduced woman falls for her seducer

got to love a story where the seduced falls for her seducer...who also was responsible for murdering her closest friends. not sure who the hero is here but I found myself wishing the main character would die a terrible death about 90% through.

Mindboggling Change of Narrator from Original

Not sure why they would change and also redo the Original narration by one of the best Narrators in the business, John Keating. It's a great story with a mediocre narrator. It's unfortunate. I feel like Damian put some effort into mumbling through this and to make an excellent story boring. In any case, if you got the original Malice with Keating, I recommend you just get the book and read it so you are not so disappointed.

narrator is mediocre for a mediocre story. my son couldn't finish the first book in series and he told me i wasted a credit on this. he was right.

Characters so bad you wanted them to die

The first book was great. This one keeps you waiting for the characters to be likeable only for you to wish they all would just die in the last battle to get it overwith. I might buy the third in hopes something interesting happens.

Spare yourself the pain.

I am sure this is a decent story. However, the mumbling by XE Sands was too painful to have to listen to. I couldn't finish. Luke Daniels does an amazing job. I found myself relistening to Xe's portions to try and follow along. not worth the effoet. Buy this book on Kindle and read it there.

Almost Ready for the Gbaba...or not.

I spent the first half of the book hoping the Gbaba would come and finish off the planet of Safehold. I just couldn't take another book in this series that didn't go much of anywhere. That being said, the second half of the book makes it all worthwhile. It has excellent closure, and I am actually looking forward to additional stories about the Humans of Safehold.

Unique. Fun. Woven.

Brilliantly written. She weaves a complex story into an intriguing spell binding read. Rich characters. Current story lines are deliciously intertwined, bringing just the right amount of attention to the topics. Narrator does an amazing job. Definitely recommended.

Angele Masters is brilliant.

The story is decent, the characters are even better. Made more so by Angele Masters wonderful performance. Worth listening too for her narration alone.
Looking forward to the second in series.
