Love Eva Ashwood, but this was probably the worst I've listened to by her. Barely a plot, and 99% inner dialog. Took forever for the characters to actually have any kind of conversation. And the female narrator here is HORRIBLE!!! Completely monotone the whole time....including during the spicy scenes which completely ruined them....and there was ZERO emotion from her pretty much the entire book. The only good thing about this experience was Gregory Salinas

Love Siobhan Davis! And this duet was great! But just when I thought that this female narrator's voice couldn't get any more annoying..."Bree" and "Julia" enter the chat! Lol my God those parts were awful! I had to skip through some chapters.

what happened to the plot?

the plot pretty much disappeared with this half. love Jude, but Emma is annoying as hell! and the narrator made it 10x worse! will there be more books?? do we get to know what happens with the war.....the shooting....whether Alec gets Bella back??? talk about a stupid ending! what a waste of credits.

Wished for more plot

These books were definitely low on the plot....heavy on the smut...and extremely heavy on the FMCs being mindless, spineless, pathetic little nothings that don't know how to stand up for themselves. A lot of these authors, this one in particular, seems to like portraying women this way.

The plot was boring

I skipped through a bit of this, the story line was pretty boring. Nothing crazy happened to keep me on the edge of my seat or anything. The spice was okay, predictable, but okay. Not a book I would go out if my way to recommend. K.A. Knight is a great author but this wasn't one of her best.

Good story, but too long

This book could have been about 10 chapters less. So much unnecessary chatter and self diaglog. And the spicy scenes were all drug out way too long with even more self dialog lol like just get to it already! lol Im not a big fan of the female narrator here and she may have had something to do with it too. Good story overall though. The spice was pretty extreme at times so be aware of that and your triggers.

I was really excited to listen to this book because I love all things vampires, and was interested in finding some spicy vampire stories. But there wasn't as much plot to this as I thought there was going to be. Seems like once they bonded, it was just sex all the time to the point where I found myself skipping ahead quite a bit. And what's with the "hellfire" thing?? lol Maybe the story will get better in the next books?

Not much of a plot really, just a lot of unnecessary self dialog from the FMC.FMC is incredibly annoying...female narrator makes her sound 10x worse! No cliffhanger. Doubt I'll listen to the rest of the series.
