Felt the dopamine hits from the first paragraphs and they just kept coming. Laugh out loud with a delightful dynamic between characters and powers that be. Great world building and the character has the superpower I would personally choose if I could have any superpower.

I am not usually a bournon drinker, and picked this rather randomly. What a win! The history intro goes beyond just bourbon and is enlightening from a much broader perspective. Great performance as well, just the right amount of pop culture, history, and science. Very entertaining, and now I have a new cocktail recipe I have to try that the author says is the best of all time!

Goofy horror, w/ some surprisingly deep insights

This isn't usually my type of book (gruesome horror scenes) but this was funny and irreverent enough to keep me going (sped up to 1.35 was better...). There were some deep moments with wise insights to humanity in there, and I like the depth of the characters, who weren't your usual heroes.

I loved Marie's performance reading her book! I've been following her for years, but I was delighted to hear stories and struggles in her life I hadn't heard before, that had inspirational endings, even when she "failed." I'll be getting copies for friends! The world would be a better place if everyone read this.
