What was not to like. I felt like I could see the characters. If only I had a teacher who would have my history class read this. I’m so glad I found this audio book.

A Story so Real
Revisado: 07-08-23
Because of the setting, it reminded me of “When the Crawdads Sing.” Beautifully written. The characters were so real, my skin had goosebumps. The story itself was well written. I do hope that Kelly lets her readers know when another novel is out.

I loved both the history and the characters. If only history was taught like this in schools. Kristin Hannah and the narrator are doing jobs so wonderful, it is amazing. This is a book everyone will be touched by. It is really a “must read”.

This story is an overall great read. It does reflect world war 2 & how ordinary people survived & lived
after the war was over. I also enjoy how Fiona takes the reader, between 2015-17 and 1836.

today. The ending is nothing I would have imagined.
